(RALEIGH) -- Presidential candidate Ralph Nader says he believes he can beat George Bush, enhance the political agenda and inspire young Americans to restore democracy.
Nader told about 200 people at North Carolina State University on Thursday that he wants voters to be as shrewd with politics as they are about sports.
He denounced corporate power and says outsourcing will only increase until people declare their independence from the far reach of corporations.
On Iraq, Nader says a multinational military force is needed, along with elections and continuing humanitarian aid.
Nader is also speaking Thursday night in Charlotte in a debate with Alan Keyes, who sought the Republican nomination for president in 2000.

He denounced corporate power and says outsourcing will only increase until people declare their independence from the far reach of corporations. Ok - so internationalism is bad. Participation in the global economy is bad. Making lots of money is bad. Got it.
On Iraq, Nader says a multinational military force is needed, along with elections and continuing humanitarian aid.
Ok - so internationalism is good. Participation in the global politisphere is good. Giving away lots of money is good.
Any questions?

until people declare their independence from the far reach of corporations. I don't have the slightest clue what this means.
I think it means you need to weave your own underwear.

I don't have the slightest clue what this means. It means you stand in the corner of your basement, with a tinfoil hat and dark glasses, yelling, "YOU CAN'T REACH ME HERE, CORPORATIONS!!"
I...guess.

People who are shrewd do not norminally vote for someone who wants the Government to decide what kind of car you should be allowed to drive. Nadar's support seems to come from those who believe that we are destroying the planet by breathing.

We should do all we can to encourage this wacko fantasy - including getting his dumb butt on as many ballots as possible.

Sort of sounds like the same things bin Laden wants---to drive civilization back to the 7th Century (i.e., corporation free).

How do we replace corporations? He wanted to say transcend, but he would lose the 2 voters who understand him up to this point.
