President Bush attended the Congressional Medal of Honor ceremony for Women's rights champion and civil rights leader Dr. Dorothy Height, who is 92 years old today. She served more than 30 years as the president of the National Council of Negro Women, an organization dedicating to uplifting black women and their communities.

President Bush spoke at the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Washington.

He accepted Jacques Chirac's invitation to go to Paris on June 5.

I don't think the protesting in Germany is anything new. Mike was told that if he left the base to be carefull and not to wear his uniform off base, he choose not to go anywhere......I think they protest Ramstein all the time.

I have to believe that God is in control; He may not LIKE what is happening, but nothing happens without His allowing it to happen.

I'm so glad you come on the dose in this time of need and jostle me to keep praying, because I confess, I need the jostling.

Perhaps the "worst day" since Jan's passing indicates a releasing of grief at a far deeper level than you were able to feel before. I don't like the sounds of how hard this is for you ... may God shed His grace on you and your family.
