President Bush attended the Congressional Medal of Honor ceremony for Women's rights champion and civil rights leader Dr. Dorothy Height, who is 92 years old today. She served more than 30 years as the president of the National Council of Negro Women, an organization dedicating to uplifting black women and their communities.

President Bush spoke at the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Washington.

He accepted Jacques Chirac's invitation to go to Paris on June 5.

WOW -- I hope everyone had a chance to watch the President's 'slideshow' at the Radio/TV Corespondents Dinner -- what a comedic talent [I loved the in your face use of the 'flight suit' pix!!!]

His heartfelt comments at the end honoring both our troops and our continuing war against terrorism once again reminded me how lucky we are to have this man as our Commander-in-Chief!

Lugar made the point that she answered every one of their questions and would continue to be of call to answer other questions.....That she had done a superb job....and the only reason he would want her at the public meeting would be so the nation would see what an excellent person she was or something to that effect......BOTH were extremely positive about her.

It reminded me of the conversation I had with my mom earlier tonight. "Yes, mother. Whatever you say, mother." I wonder why he was actually holding the phone away like that. I have to do that with telemarketers sometimes because their volume is up high. (And my godmother because she talks really loud.)
