I know there are more out there like Mr. Boyle. In fact, one of our friends at church is a firefighter, and he resents mightily the International Firefighters' Union and its support for Kerry.

I'm not a "union" firefighter, but was pointed to this website:
Fire Fighters For Bush It appears that there are many members of the IAFF who agree with Jimmy Boyle.

If truth and justice are ever to prevail....every damn liberal newspaper that prints "XXXX Union with 50,000 members votes to support (filll in the blank with a liberal) for office"....will be required to print a retraction that they meant the "Officers" not members.

Wonderful story ... but very typical of others I have seen about the President.
Thanks for posting this, Molly!

Warm and fuzzy, ping!
Thanks Molly, kayak, Meekie (Byron York, National Review, Mr. President, a firefighter, father of a 911 victim who understands what's at stake in this war!).

Another great story about our President. Strangely, I can't recall any 'heartwarming' stories about Clinton, and Heaven forbid that Hillary would 'warm' anyones heart!!

FOLKS...if you don't subscribe to National Review, you should consider doing so.
There are many options. Their online website (free...The Corner is a must read daily) is fantastic and the magazine is great.
At $59 a year, it's a bargain. If you can't afford that, you can get someone to gift it to you for $39.
But if you want to read the print mag online...you can subscribe online for only $20!
What a bargain!
Anyone wanting a print subscription (NRODT as it's called...NR on dead tree) can private mail me, send me $39 and I'll sign you up.
