Did you also notice that Berger said some of his STAFF met w/Condi? Low-level briefing for an incoming Presidential representative? What an insult.
To: texasbluebell
Yup, we need to be more aggressive. The RATS and their bretheren in the media mistake our politeness for weakness. I'm sure the (unthinking) folks at home get that impression as well.

If Clarke gets slaughtered on his book this afternoon, Amazon.com will be flooded with people demanding a refund because they thought they were buying a book of non-fiction, not fiction.

Not to correct Rush, but the pledge should be, "Do you swear to say whatever will hurt Bush, regardless of the truth, so help you Clarke."
To: Howlin
Somewhere I have missed the Fox bombshell!

Clarke's 'impression of Condi' not knowing about al-Qaeda was "erroneous." [Yeh, it was an out and out lie.]Unfortunately, that is not what Berger said.
However, the facts seem clear and perhaps it's fortunate that Berger has exposed himself as an extreme partisan (something we freepers have known for years, of course).
Fox has that ass Bob Graham on saying Rice should appear before the committee IN RESPONSE to being asked about Fox pointing out the Clarke discrepancies between book and the newly discovered taped interview.

Do you think Clarke no wishes he didn't get an additional hour to testify.
I think its really funny that all these people who had every reason to read Clarke's book claim to have not read it.
To: hobbes1; mass55th
Berger is Kerry's advisor..........LOL.

My guess is that even before Bush was elected, Condi Rice knew more about AQ than any of those toons in the prior administration ever thought about trying to begin to learn to know! And that would be without her having access to classified info at that time.
