If you had ADD like I do, this would be easy to manage. ;->

Rush is hammering CBS for their lack of journalistic integrity. He is absolutely right.

Rush mentioned the Jim Angle bombshell at the top of his show, and said he will spend 3 hours going after Clarke.

Yes he is. He's already talked about the Angle angle. He's going to spend the whole 3 hours on it.

Thompson asks Berger if and when he briefed Condi Rice as part of the transition.
Yes, he did and Thompson asked if he briefed her on al Qaeda before the inauguration.
Thompson says "So when Clarke says..." in his meeting with Rice and he goes on to quote the facial expression quote.
Berger won't comment on it, he doesn't know the sequence or circumstance.
It is too much to ask that Berger concede the notion is absurd.

Berger just said he discussed al-Qaeda in their first meeting. I didn't hear a date, but it apparently was during the administrations transition.
Clarke's 'impression of Condi' not knowing about al-Qaeda was "erroneous." [Yeh, it was an out and out lie.]

My lord.....Sandy Berger just refused to knock down Clarke's claim that Condi Rice didn't know who AQ was.
He just flat out danced around whether or not she KNEW who bin Laden was!

What isn't Rush talking about? I'm listening to him and he's talking about Clarke and is all over the story, unless I'm missing something here...

He said he was breaking early so he could present the whole thing, and get clips ready.

"Is it just me, or is Berger arrogant as hell?"
Arrogant & stupid. It's obvious the guy is way over his head. How he ever got the job he had with the Clinton White House is beyond me. Must have been a political payback. He was not qualified to be National Security Advisor.
To: ohioWfan
LMAO.....They just nailed Berger in a transparent set up.
Did you brief Condi about AL Q????? Why Yes I did......
Then Clarke Must be wrong?....err...ahhh.hummana hummana hummana

That is NOT what Berger said. He said he didn't know, that he didn't know the "sequence" of their meetings.

Heh heh heh, 20 million people are about to hear about his first hand. It's hysterical listening to Berger going on and on while his testamony is being discredited by a tape of Clark himself.

That was quite shocking to see. He just would not say Clarke is lying.
The really fun part of watching him is knowing that HE doesn't know about Fox's bombshell -- yet!
I'd love to be in that hall when he finds out!
