I think its really funny that all these people who had every reason to read Clarke's book claim to have not read it.

I'm not sure what you are commenting on.
Berger did say he discussed al-Qaeda with Condi in their first meeting (and I assume that would have been during the transition period between administrations). The questioner followed up a bit later and Berger reaffirmed that they discussed al-Qaeda in all 3 meetings they had.
