That is NOT what Berger said. He said he didn't know, that he didn't know the "sequence" of their meetings.

I'm not sure what you are commenting on.
Berger did say he discussed al-Qaeda with Condi in their first meeting (and I assume that would have been during the transition period between administrations). The questioner followed up a bit later and Berger reaffirmed that they discussed al-Qaeda in all 3 meetings they had.

Oh! I was referring to the question put to him to about whether or not he had any idea whether Clarke was lying when he said Condi Rice didn't know about AQ.

Does anyone have a link to Rice's writings before entering the administration? I tried a google search but didn't really find anything (there are too many post 9/11 hits to sort through).
