How much time can we possibly waste on Dem disappointment that they can't put Rice on show trial on camera?

Ironically enough, I'd have to say CNN is the most fair and balanced of the 24/7 news networks on these hearings. MSNBC and FOX only cover certain aspects of it.

Ben Veniste using Armitage to bash Condi for the three zillionth time.
Armitage stuns him by saying he knew for 7 to 10 days that he would testify and not Condi. Says BV went to law school and he went to the Navy. Great answer.

I'm losing sympathy for these families. We all lose loved ones. We don't all get millions of dollars because of it. But we all have to get over it.

As much as Ben-Vineste wants to.
And he keeps ignorning the fact that all those precedents involve CONGRESS, not non-partisn committees that have NOTHING to do with the government.

Ben Veniste, the smarmiest excuse for a lawyer in the entire country, just accused he White House of "over lawyering" this issue.

Earlier, Fox had a screen scroll about Clarke being single. No wonder. The only thing worse than being a Mrs. Clarke would be Mrs. Henry Waxman.
To: Howlin
Clarke has completely poisoned the well -- made it impossible for Bush officials not to attack the prior administration -- this is very unfortunate for the country

Ben Veniste is a very irritating man. His voice is putting me over the edge.

Why? Background briefings are not "classified" information. The only thing I have been able to find out is that they are normally released as "senior admin spokesman" blah, blah, blah.
So the only thing Kerry was upset about was that Fox had exposed who was speaking - Clarke. Since this was not "classified" information, I would say the WH has the option to release the info or not and to release who said it.
