I think he has. Roemer said "there are a lot of distractions out there *today*" and instructed him to just focus on memos, emails, notes and the like and not pay attention to partisan attacks. Then Clarke goes on to cite Woodward's book as evidence of how seriously or not Bush took the threat of terrorism. Unbelievable

The WH briefing Contradicts what he is saying Under oath. If what he said in the Briefing is accurate, than there are witnesses to the meetings etc.

If nobody on this committee asks Clarke about the Angle tape, you can bet the fix was in from the beginning.

NewsMax already said that the 9/11 commission is nothing more than "beat witnesses over the head" commission.

It's interesting that he was upset about the lack of action about THREATS.

He was not similarly upset about the lack of action when we had ACTUAL TERRORIST ACTIONS that killed Americans during Clinton's years.

Not so, perjury is if both conflicting statements were said under oath. The Angle tape covered a WH briefing Clarke gave. But, he must be made to answer for his previous statement AND his previous statement should be read for all to hear. They will never know about it on the evening news.

Was over at a friend's house a little while ago and he has CNN on with Bill Schnider saying the 9-11 Commission was the MOST non-partisan group around! I almost fell though the floor...

Bill S. did not mention Clinton's hatchman Ben V nor Ms. Gorelick's role in the Monica coverup!
