So, he was so frustrated at the supposed inaction of President Bush that rather than resigning and going public with his concerns, he just asked for a reassignment so that he could continue to have his government paycheck?

It's interesting that he was upset about the lack of action about THREATS.

He was not similarly upset about the lack of action when we had ACTUAL TERRORIST ACTIONS that killed Americans during Clinton's years.
