They've been scrambling hard at CNN to find out who else was at that briefing and get the talking points faxed to them.

CNN's Bill Schneider is saying this is the "least partisan" commission he can imagine. What a spider's hole!
Says Clarke has enormous credibility because he worked for several administrations (until he was forced out--ed.).

I cannot believe this. They are trying to rehab Clarke already.

I have a hard time taking him seriously!

CNN is reporting Clarke said something differently in 2002I can just imagine:
FOX: Clarke caught with his pants down.
CNN: Clarke has wardrobe malfunction, but what did Bush know and when did he know it?
To: Carolinamom
Ah, Clinton: Paralysis by Nuance. Now who does that remind you of? Could be it be the faux Irish guy who hurt himself yesterday trying to snowboard down both sides of the mountain -- at the same time.

What a crock! Even my husband (who never pays attention) noticed last night that everyone asking questions yesterday was either a former Clinton administation, or had a "D" after their name.

"I cannot believe this. They are trying to rehab Clarke already"Yes, but you can bet the DNC is in a panic mode. This one is going to tough to deny and discredit because Clarke is on tape. This one is for real.

Let's hope they all have to get WH clearance individually, since it was a deep background interview.

Question for you (or anyone else who knows):
If this transcript is now in the public domain and Clarke answers differently (to validate his book) under oath this afternoon, will that be considered perjury? How much trouble would that cause him?
Just curious...
Thanks for the other number!

I think we now see why Kerry has been keeping his distance from Clarke (at least in public).

Sorry to show my ignorance, but what is wrong with pic #1?

LOL. CNN behind the curve, as usual.
Had my husband call CNN too.
First number that Maria posted is best:

It gets out, even through the mainstream news filters, if Clarke is grilled about the audiotape by Fielding, Lehman, and others on the panel today.
