Question for you (or anyone else who knows):

If this transcript is now in the public domain and Clarke answers differently (to validate his book) under oath this afternoon, will that be considered perjury? How much trouble would that cause him?

only if he states he never said differently. Since he was not under oath the first time he can say he was lying then but not now while he is under oath. HOWEVER, I bet he has testifed in closed session congressional hearings before, I wonder if he was under oath then.

Your number was the best one. A live person answered my number in my other post to you but didn't want to listen and switched me to the same answering machine I got from your phone number.

I had my husband call, too.

Re your question: I'd think it would be perjury if Clarke is caught in a lie. SHouldn't be difficult for the panel to do if they've done their homework.
