March 24, 2004 -- DON Imus called CBS's Lesley Stahl a "gutless, lying weasel" yesterday for abruptly canceling an interview during which Imus planned to hammer her about conflict-of-interest allegations. "I realize it's a little late in your life, honey, to start gettin' honest, but just say 'I don't want to appear on the program . . . because I heard what he said earlier this morning,' " Imus railed.

I heard on the Imus show this morning Bob Woodward has a new book out, published by Simon & Schuster, trashing the President, and he's scheduled for an interview on 60 Minutes in the future. Every single one at CBS is dishonest. Not just Stahl.

Imus has received an advance from Simon & Schuster for a book, and after a slight of some sort (I think they refused to give him an advance copy of Hillary's book) he announced that he will not fulfill his contract with them.

After some addition thought, he added: "Well, maybe I'll have Wyatt (his son, who is about 6 or 7 years old) sit down one night and write it for me."

I watched Jonathan Alter and Imus yesterday I believe it was (or on Monday). I despise Alter and I never have really liked Imus. I think the way Alter went on and on like a schoolboy spreading a rumor he knows is not true was so transparent and incredibly biased. Alter is no journalist, he is a partisan. He was, of course, backing Clarke to the hilt and then some. Shame on all of them. I guess I should stop channel switching during FOX's commercials! That's how I get drawn into this shi$#@ on the other lamestream shows.

The media doesn't recognize anything they do as biased because, to them, everyone is a leftist and if you are NOT, you are an aberration, a minority among the U.S. Why should anyone warn or inform the leftists about the connection between the book, Simon/Schuster and VIACOM? After all,the book MUST be the unvarnished truth because it rips the right, therefore serves the majority of correctly thinking people.

Condi's not testifying in public is a smokescreen. What questions are not being answered? What questions has she, or other witnesses for that matter, refused to answer?

Team Bush has not refused to answer based on executive privilege, they have just refused to allow presidential advisors (not cabinet members) testify publicly based on separation of powers concerns. Ip> The light of truth shines on Bush as being consistent and not unreasonable.

BTW, does anyone know who Clinton's NSA person was, if he/she will testify in public?
