Posted on 03/18/2004 8:36:27 AM PST by threat matrix

Mr. Lipscomb was just on the Laura Ingraham show and said he now has 7 seperate witnesses, a left wing historian and redacted FBI documents that show John Kerry was at the Kansas City 'Vietnam Veterans Against the War' meeting in 1971 where the assassination of seven United States Senators was discussed.

Kerry had previously said he was not at the meeting.

I didn't attend that meeting until I arrived, but then I left!

"I wasn't there. Later I was, but I didn't like the way that the being there was being done so then I wasn't there anymore. And stop trying to change the subject!"

Kerry's response:

"What does 'there' refer to? 'There' is a fuzzy word. I'm here, but from where you are, I'm there! Hence, I am both here and there. I perhaps occupy all space and time. You must understand the nuances, the shades, the complexity. Now, my good man, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to my yacht...and it's BIGGER than YOUR yacht, CHUMP!"

They already have it, and are arguing about the information, suggesting that the witnesses are all 'Freepers'. LOL.

That may become standard operating procedure for the dems. After all, it's worked for them so far.

I have to believe that the Bush campaign is not taking a Kerry nomination as an absolute guarantee. I think they know the Clintons are lurking and would put their lust for power over the interests of the country.

Dealing with Kerry requires both barrels to be loaded, but he can be taken out with a few selected shots.

I'm thinking they have a few special tomahawks prepared if Hillary is the nominee.

In some respects, I would prefer Hillary to be the nominee. I think we conservatives are so anxious over the Clinton years we automatically assume Hillary is a skilled politician, however, being a New Yorker myself, I can say confidently that she's no Bill Clinton.

W would embarrass her in the Presidential debates ... and all this non-sense from the left about her saving the country can be put to bed ...

I honestly believe that if the Democrat party destroys itself our country will suffer. Unfortunately, until the Dems renounce their radical constituents and get with what real people in America think, they are dooming themselves to the same path as the UN ... irrelevance ...

What would really be funny (and a great Razz on the left) is if it was Kerry who was the FBI informant at the meeting!

A number of the anti-war types were in fact agents provacateur (whether for the soviets or us is sometimes unclear) who were trying to stir up violence. Boy, would that blast Kerry's lefist "street cred". But, of course it wouldn't help his campaign much because it would show further lack of conviction and dishonesty. And, his anti-war voting record and testimony would now make him look like a real jerk if he was also an FBI snitch.

Damn Internet!

The Internet makes it much more difficult for dishonest and disingenuous politicians to hoodwink, deceive, lie.

Yes, keep this stuff simmering until after the nomination is final.

Let's just hope the SC doesn't put on their goggles and find the phrase in the Constitution that says "The Democrat Party of 2004 must be able to field a candidate, regardless of the law and/or deadlines."

PS - If there's no Democrat candidate, I'm voting Constitutionalist/Libertarian.

Here we are, from a list on CNN.com of politicians who have died in airplane crashes: (I got the order of the deaths reversed, sorry)

April 4, 1991: Pennsylvania Sen. John Heinz (R). According to AP: A fiery plane-helicopter collision 11 years ago killed U.S. Sen. H. John Heinz III and showered flames on children in a playground. Heinz, a three-term Republican and heir to the Heinz food fortune, died along with the two pilots of his chartered plane and two pilots in the helicopter who were attempting to see if the plane's front landing gear was down and locked in place. The plane's captain had radioed that an instrument light failed to confirm the gear was in place.

April 5, 1991: Texas Sen. John Tower (R). Texas Sen. John Tower, his daughter and 21 other people, including NASA astronaut Manley "Sonny" Carter, Jr., were killed in a commuter plane crash near Brunswick, Georgia.

As I recall, a couple of weeks before his death, Senator Heinz read aloud at a meeting two letters from Kerry to the same constituent, one against an issue, one in support of the same issue. Everyone laughed, it was reported.

Of course, this was 20 years after the KC assassination meeting, so.... But Tower was one of the senators named on the assassination list. Five weren't named, can't remember who the other one named was, Jesse Helms maybe.

That's why Libscomb brought up the left wing historian, Kerry can't claim partisanship!

Yeah, but seriously discussing the assassination of seven Senators isn't nearly as mean spirited as those new Bush attack ads.

Or as disrespectful as putting the World Trade Center ruins in your ads. What's a little treasonous murder between Democrats anyway? Kerry will claim that it depends on what the definition of "at" is.

Now, Now I'm sure that if George W. Bush attended meetings at which the assasination of United States Senators was discussed, the media would not delve into it either. I mean, I'm sure Kerry didn't even agree with the murders. I'm sure it was a very reasonable group otherwise. And hey, they never even killed a single Senator.
