Got word from Milwaukee that my Father & Mother-in-law were to have held an Easter egg hunt for my neices & nephews, but something *odd* happened along the way.

The *squirrels* my Father-in-Law has been at war with -- for years -- unbeknownst to him were watching him hide the eggs.
As soon as he was finished he went in the house for a coffee & sat down to relax.
As he sat there looking out the kitchen window at the *secret* locations of the eggs?
To his horror he sees a half dozen of the grey critters running off with colored eggs in their mouths.

Not *one* egg did they leave, too.

Man-oh-man.

...is there gonna be trouble, now. :o)

Yup, & one'd have to know the man's been in a "state of war" with the rodents for a very long time too in order to fully appreciate the scene.

The things chew on everything including the [expensive] wood trim on his beautiful (& vintage) Tutor-style home's trim he religiously busts his keister keeping in pristine condition.
*Not* all that easy to do in the harsh seasonal climate on Lake Michigan, in Milwaukee.

If &/or when the man ever has a heart attack one day, I'm fairly certain it'll be the tree rats that'll precipitate it.

For my part if I were to engage the pests it'd be with my Daisy pump .177 cal pellet rifle w/ a 4x scope.

K's been put in charge of a massive multibuilding corporate acquasition her organization's undertaking here in s.hoosierdom.
That'll require her do a *lot* of traveling; so, I will be up, eventually, & you can take that to the bank.

Want you to sniff around & locate the best Lake Perch areas; because, *that'll* be what my *Jihad's* gonna be all about.
