Your moderatoring skills are flashy but lacking in substance.

I'll agree to a certain extent...however, I can't sit here and not post things because I don't know if tomorrow, the person I am responding to, will go out and harm themselves tomorrow.

Ferret posts regularly on LP..I think if he has those tendencies, he is more likely to act on them by reading the posts over there than on here.

Special consideration for unintended environmental references sprinkled throughout.

Good point! I'm slipping in my old age.

Sadly though, all grading is final.

I wish I could say it won't be the same without you, but I never knew you were here. Looks like I didn't miss much though.

Hnn... MissAP & BraveMan: you seem to have some idea of what the heck this guys rant was about. It just seemed a muddle of words without meaning to me.

Reading this forces me to think about myself 20 years ago when I just got my degrees and I thought I was real smart. I believed the person who articulated his thoughts using a certain liberal code was always the best candidate. I thought the person who just sounded like my profs must be the best for political office. I thought if they smiled, were for the people, talked about clean water, clean air, open spaces, fighting poverty, etc., must be good for us.

I learned like most of us on this forum that liberalism doesn't work. When one is a doer, as I am. liberalism destroys the incentive that is fundamental to the human condition, ie, liberalism is contrary to normal human enterprise. It is that simple. For defectives, how I and others would characterize you if we knew you, liberalism and Marxism works just fine for those who lack, a spine, industry, pride of personal achievement, and ambition. Liberals seem to avoid these traits and in their perfect world none of these traits are important. They are defective humans. That is why no Marxist way of life has ever succeeded. It also won't succeed here.

It doesn't matter what site is getting to a person. If a forum is that big of a deal to anyone, he needs to talk to a professional. Let's face it, in the big picture, none of us here or on LP are real to this man.

The funny thing is, I feel I have some great friends here, but I wouldn't know them if I met them on the street.

I know who you are talking about - I was there, as well.
Yes, they crossed the lines to moron, but I noticed their others posts and threads not long after.

Seems their stock in trade is the constant contrarian stance - just for the pleasure of it, I suppose.

The operative word here being, HE.

Meaning I can't and won't be held responsible, nor share in the guilt when people don't or can't deal in the "real world"...we are all adults...I understand your good intentions Mom, but again, it is the individuals responsibility.

Now, I ain't that smart, but if I get the gist of things through all them big words: if we do not believe as you do you will crush us???

You tried real hard to sound real smart, but you don't know what a facist is.

Take a breath, lighten up, and listen up a little more.
