Ah! LOL, well, I'm just waking up. Worth mentioning twice, I suppose, this being Military Monday.

He was shockingly beautiful and took our breath away!!! He flew away though, I guess because he heard me hoping he was dead so we could keep him. I just can't bring myself to catch live butterflies for our collection. He blessed us with beauty today so I wish him a prosperous, long life.
We have wet lands all around us, so we have amazing birds every where. I have seen more bluebirds than I've ever seen in my whole life. It's so exciting to spot a blue bird. We have two Bald Eagles around here some where, but haven't seen them in a few weeks, so maybe they took off. They nest here in the winter. We have Osprey's that feed in our pond everyday and that's an awesome thing to witness. I've tried to take pictures of it, but he is too fast for me.
Anyway, we were outside late last night and heard some wonderful Barred Owls calling each other and carrying on a mighty chatter. It was so exciting that I had to write it down in our family diary. It probably sounds cheesy to get so excited over owls, but this was the first time we've heard them.

I think I remember your knees where giving you fits, weren't they? I hope they are better.
I hardly get on here myself because homeschooling keeps me swamped. We're enjoying our spring break this week. Ally is gone, but Jonah is here. We might go to Universal Studios on Wednesday. Other than that, I'm just catching up on my scrapbook albums and listening to the Mocking birds mock. We went to the beach Saturday and it was extremely cold! I think we'll wait until April to go back. :)
