WASHINGTON (CNN) -- This week's deadly train bombings in Spain will not lead to a rise in the U.S. color-coded terror threat alert system, a Department of Homeland Security spokesman said Friday.
"Based on the current intelligence, we have no specific indicators that terrorist groups are considering such an attack in the U.S. in the near term," said department spokesman Brian Roehrkasse.

Gosh DL,from a spiritual perspective I was stunned silent. I did grapple with the excessive violence , cried and was physically ill. I am always the type who must know the 'why' but I could write an essay on what this movie did to me.

Could the story about the nuke ship being ready to blow be a way to provide "plausible denyability?" Exactly my tinfoil feeling ;)

The frequency on cruisers has been steadily climbing for two years. The gastro bug in the guise of all stomach ailments growing at an alarming rate.
Things like this already posted:
A bacterium that is connected to Legionnaires' disease has been confirmed
in Oklahoma, and state health officials said Mon, 22 Mar 2004 that a
Oklahoma hotel was the likely source.
Eyewitness News 5 learned that the Comfort Suites at Interstate 44 and
Meridian was the location where people who were in Oklahoma City for a
basketball tournament were staying when they became ill.

Missed Chances in a Long Hunt for bin Laden
By DAVID JOHNSTON and TODD S. PURDUM
Published: March 25, 2004
WASHINGTON, March 24 In 1996, the C.I.A. secretly created a special operational unit devoted to tracking a single man, a Saudi-born exile named Osama bin Laden, then living in Sudan and considered a major terrorist financier. By early 1997, the office, known as the bin Laden station, had concluded that he was also a terrorist organizer, based in Afghanistan, with a military committee planning operations against American interests worldwide.

The 'counterterrorism czar': Born-again critic of the Bush administration
Posted: March 25, 2004
Richard Clarke, President George W. Bush's former "counterterrorism czar," accuses the Bush administration of seeking a tie between Iraq and 9-11, and pushing America into an ill-advised war in Iraq. Clarke claims that Bush attempted to "intimidate him" into finding evidence which Clarke maintains doesn't exist to establish a connection between Saddam Hussein and al-Qaida. Clarke accuses Bush of doing little to combat terrorism pre-9/11.
Really?

Posted: March 25, 2004
After his election in 2000, George W. Bush made a big mistake: He didn't clean house of Clinton administration figures. The Senate has confirmed hundreds of President Bush's appointments, but it's Bush's reappointments that have come back to haunt him. While several of the reappointees first served under Republicans, their service in the Clinton administration should have signaled that they would be trouble for Bush.

By David Zizzo and Larry Levy
The Oklahoman
TULSA -- Federal officials served a search warrant Tuesday morning at Sinclair Oil Corp.'s Tulsa Refinery, an Environmental Protection Agency spokesman said.
EPA agents executed a warrant at the refinery in west Tulsa, said Dave Bary, EPA spokesman in Dallas. "That's the sum of what at this point I can confirm."
