WASHINGTON, March 12 (UPI) -- A survey by a Washington pollster released Friday found a majority of those surveyed think terrorists would prefer to have Sen. John F. Kerry as president.

The Andres McKenna Research survey of 800 registered voters shows Kerry defeating Bush in the general election, 47 percent to 45 percent, with 9 percent undecided.

Asked, "Who do you think the terrorists would prefer to have as president," the independent poll found that 60 percent said Kerry while 25 percent said Bush.

The poll, which has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points, also found that 51 percent of those surveyed thought Bush would win the 2004 election against 39 percent who said Kerry.

This is silly. They surveyed, I am sure, NON-terrorists as to their guess about the preference of terrorists, a demographic that, I am sure, virtually none of them knew personally. Next they'll survey Jews about who they think will get the Moslem vote, and then survey idiots about who will get the high IQ vote. And the results will be about as helpful.

I feel for the good people of Spain and their 9-11. I haven't heard a thing about this attack from the Scary Kerry thugs. Why, because he doesn't give a hoot about Spain or any other U.S. ally. Kerry stated that he wants to apologize to the terrorists and make up for all of Bush's three years of blunders. With a guy like Kerry, terrorists will be welcome to do their thing, of which is to kill the Christian world.

Not being a terrorist myself, nor knowing any personally, I'd take a wild guess that they might prefer Lebanese-American Ralph Nader. Or they might vote for the President who was sending foreign aid to the Taliban right up to September 11th.

Decision 2004

The Washington Times

Eighteen months before the 2004 election, President Bush appears in a strong position to win another term. Ongoing voter reservations about the credibility of the Democratic field, as well as emerging concerns about who will effectively prosecute the war on terrorism, pose huge hurdles for potential White House rivals and major advantages for Mr. Bush.

The point ReformedLiberal is trying to make is that even though a large majority think that terrorists would prefer to have Kerry as president, many of those same people evidently said they would vote for him.

That certainly suggests that a lot of people have confused priorities.

Well, according to Kerry, he has been told in private by foreign leaders that they really want him to beat Bush. Kim Jong Il, Fidel Castro, Saddam Hussein, Assad, etc. They really want for him to win.

Right now, this isn't resonating.

By November, it sure as hell will.
