Get ready for a new concept in talk radio: liberals. A new company, Air America Radio, said Wednesday it will go live March 31 in the nation's four largest markets, including the Bay Area, with an unprecedented left- leaning, round-the-clock talk radio network, featuring outspoken comedians Al Franken and Janeane Garofalo.

These guys will do real well with word-of-mouth advertising.
"He said George W. Bush is a stupid liar. Then he said Rush Limbaugh is a big fat idiot. You gotta listen to Air America. It's a laugh riot."
He said the station would naturally attract "green products," and should scoop up a good share of this year's copious political advertising dollars.
I hope Ketchup Boy pours millions of dollars into this black hole.

The vast majority of Democratic voters are almost toally politically unaware.
They're too busy scrounging up change for malt liquor and buying scratch-off lottery tickets to pay any attention to Al Franken and his womanly voice.

If you think that Franken is funny, then you probably ought to be tagged as being an idiot.
Is this the best you got, Rats? Bring it on!
Give it your best shot, however ther is no sense sending a boy to do a man's (or woman's) work.

"But there's a big hole in the market "
Agreed. And its name is Al Franken.

Some liberals have had success in local markets, such as Miami's Randi Rose, who will be joining Air America. It's Randi Rhodes. This little twit offers her as an example of a "successful" liberal talk host, and he can't even get her friggin' name right! Oh yeah, this thing's gonna be a roaring success.

This should be fascinating. Two of the most liberal talk radio hosts on KGO in San Francisco are on late in the evening and in the dead of night. Bernie Ward is on at 10 pm, and Ray Taliaferro is on from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. I also seem to recall that Bernie Ward tried to go national a few years ago, but he didn't last very long.

Get ready for a new concept in talk radio: liberals.
It's not a new concept. It's an old, failed concept.

I may be wrong, but it'll never work. Libs don't understand why guys like Limbaugh, Hannity, Liddy and Savage are successful. All have criticized Republican administrations and politicians on the issues, at times very vehemently and pointedly. I cannot see a liberal talk show host doing that, it's not in their makeup. I don't recall ever hearing any liberal criticizing any democrat on the issues. If they ever are harsh with each other publicly it's because the haven't attacked the conservatives enough. These programs will be pumped up with money from the Soro's of the world and they will appear to be successful for a while but in the end they will finish with a resounding "FLOP".

These guys will do real well with word-of-mouth advertising."And now we're going to talk to a true patriot, 'Spike'. He can't use his real name because the Ashcroft Gestapo is trying to persecute him for his stunning blow against the capitalist Republican pigs, when he bravely snuck onto a car lot last Thursday night and set fire to 50 environment-raping SUVs."
Oh, they'll be lining up in droves to spend ad dollars here.

What amazes me is that the liberals entertain the idea that a sissy like Franken, who only can get a position like this by brown-nosing, will be able to build an audience.
The conservatives have done it by hard work without the financing of political operatives, on merit.
If you attempt to start at the top pinnacle rather than earning it a step at a time, you will end up as a bloody splat at the foot of the mountain.

Terrrraayyyyyzaaaa has found another way of hiding/making money.
Invest in commercial time (Oh, who would they advertize and promote), get little or no return, write it off as advertising cost.
Stinkin' rats.
