JFK and Korea? Umm hate to disappoint you but Harry Truman was POTUS during Korea. Saying that Kennedy didn't have a strong foreign policy becasue of the missile crisis would be like saying Pres. Bush was 'soft on terrorism" becasue of 9/11! If anything a strong foreign policy attitude is what allowed JFK to stare the Commies down instead of caving like the RATS of today would have done. And it wasn't JFK who advocated increasing troop strength in Vietnam. That was purely LBJ. The Peace Corps today may be a waste of money but when it was started it was not.

Guiliani responds to democrat New Yorker anger statistics. Says that democrat primary has stoked that anger with negative ads, etc. Says it will right itself in a few months.

I wish Guiliani would have pointed out that there was only a 6% voter turnout in NY. Out of 11 million registered voters only 646,000 cast votes for democratic candidates.

So those statistics Russert highlighted showing 87% of democrats angry of President Bush are actually only 87% of 6% of voters.

I've e-mailed the White House, Rove, RNC, etc. and begged them to discuss the REAL facts regarding the jobs situation.

I don't know...Mary Matalin on MTP now just did a great job addressing the job situation.

The best Carville can do is point out that re-electing Bush means a continuation of his policies.

That's a good thing!

Russert continuously takes the dem pov when addressing Matalin. He does not, contrary to his own opinion of himself, reverse strategy when asking questions of a dem. If he does ask from the republican stance it is with a slight expression of dismissal or disagreement.

Anyway, Mary is doing it and I've heard others address the job issue effectively. Unfortunately the Bush team must fight the dems AND the media in getting their message out. But it is getting out despite those hurdles.

LOL Carville again lists things and says "this is your crowd" if you agree. Mary did great and Carville (inadvertantly?) helped us, too.
