I so love Rudy's response!!! I wish Bush' team could come up with these things!!
I can't even watch any of the shows anymore-its like getting my teeth pulled. I just read the reviews here.

Guiliani talks about the appeasement of terrorists by the Europeans. Talks about them setting terrorists free, etc. Points out that Bush is confronting them.
Guiliani responds to democrat New Yorker anger statistics. Says that democrat primary has stoked that anger with negative ads, etc. Says it will right itself in a few months.
To: Bluntpoint
The accent then would have been on the last 2 syllables. You made a good/better choice...more blunt force! (Now, back to the shows.)
To: Carolinamom
Thanks. "What might have been" sounds exactly like what a Democrat would dream of while Republicans are doing something.

Racicot says "why respond to misleading, inaccurate attacks [by Kerry]? Why dignify them? We intend to stay positive."
Simple answer, Marc, is that press will run the negative attacks; left unanswered they leave doubt in the minds of those not quite so informed as us who routinely follow politics and know what the true facts are.
To: Miss Marple
Says it will right itself in a few months.Same principle Brit used when he instructed the panel that jobs creation always follows the upturn in the market.
To: Morgan in Denver
Well let's see. He stood down the Soviets and Castro during the Missile Crisis...set the groundwork for the flights to the moon...started the Peace Corps..believed in a strong military enough or shall I continue?

MTP airing here and Fox on at same time. I chose MTP.
Guiliani is spectacular. Absolutely fabulous.
I appreciate hearing how Racicot is doing over on Fox...Excellent news.

You bet, please continue. JFK stood down the soviets, but it was he who caused the crisis in the first place by not having a solid foreign policy. He did lay the ground work for the moon, I'll give you that one. Started the Peace Corps, which is a disgrace and waste of American money. I do not remember JFK supporting a strong military, evidence: Vietnam and Korea.

Aha! You didn't notice the "blow hole" in the top of his head. You'll figure it out. BWHAHAHAHAHA

Didn't you know that its
government that provides jobs?
(At least that's what the Democrats are always telling us.)
To: Morgan in Denver
To honor his memory, Special Forces soldiers pay their respects to late President Kennedy by laying a wreath and green beret on his tomb every November twenty-second, the date of his assassination.

If you get Chris Matthews, watch the end. One of his pundits (maybe Tucker Carlson) said that Sharpton would drop out of the race, his campaign debts would be paid off (not sure if it was by Kerry or the DNC) and he'd be getting his own talk show ON FOX NEWS.
I was eating breakfast at the time & damn near needed the Heimlich manuever.

Oh, sheesh.
This link is NOT working for me.
It worked last night. It's an Investory's Business Daily link. Sorry.

Well they went back and reviewed the tape and this is what they found. Reminds me of grade school and cheating off the smart kids test

To: Morgan in Denver
This little voice in the back of my mind keeps telling me the JFK mystique and Camelot was all a media invention to prop up a poor president.
I believe you are right on that.
JFK, along with Marilyn and Elvis, became the staples for slow-news-days.

I'm not trying to dishonor Kennedy or his assignation. I am merely pointing out the apparent truth of his memory being hyped more than it deserves. The whole Kennedy clan has done little to deserve as much respect as the media seems to bestow upon them.
But okay. I'll quit. As I said, I'm really not trying to start a discussion on it.
To: Alas Babylon!
Would you please add me to your ping list.
thanks
