3. Select Every News Outlet Listed!!!
4. Enter your info
5. Write your letter!
You can use the sample below, or, of course, you may draft your own :)
Subject: The REAL Agenda of "Campaign Finance Reform"
To Whom It May Concern:
I am shocked that the media does not find it curious that the same groups that rammed McCain-Feingold "Campaign Finance Reform" down our throats are the same groups complaining about being limited, by the FEC, to $5,000 campaign contributions. The same people who denounced the "$100,000" dollar checks in politics are now complaining because they can't collect $100,000 checks.
For example, George Soros was, astonishingly, one of the prime advocates of Campaign Finance Reform, yet the media seems to completely ignore this contradiction as he continues to write million-dollar checks to left-wing campaign groups.
Could it be that the true agenda of the "Campaign Finance Reform" groups, such as the left-wing group "People for the American Way," was merely a partisan sham aimed at establishing left-wing fundraising hegemony?
Sincerely,
YOUR NAME/ETC
Also, send a letter to the editor at USA today (you may use the sample above if you like) to respond to THIS story on the subject.

I thought this law was OK when it was perceived to benefit Republicans. The whole thing needs done away with and replaced with complete disclosure. I was sure it would never become law anyway, silly me.

Thanks for the effort.

I find hypocrisy in any American who has defended, voted for, signed, or upheld any Campaign Finance Laws, including McCain-Feingold, that limit the free expression of political speech in any way, and in any American who continues to do so. I've seen a lot of folks who didn't mind CFR's abuse of the First Amendment because it worked "in favor of conservatives," who are now suddenly outraged that Soros and MoveOn.org haven't been silenced. Now you're bleating because they supported CFR? It couldn't have passed without Republican perfidy. All who supported CFR in any way deserve every unintended consequence of their disdain for the First Amendment.

If you send a letter to USA Today, make sure you arent using too many words from the above example. Regardless of the content, the ywill discredit the letters if they all use the same wording.
Of course when the 9/11 victims trotted out by the DEMs all use the same wording, that's fine
