This should be a great protest rally, folks. We are joining with other groups, and people are coming from as far away as West Virginia and DC.
Join Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry, Vietnamese-Americans Against John Kerry, and several other groups from around town.
Date: Saturday, February 28
Time: 12 noon
Place: Across from John Kerry's NYC headquarters, 373 Park Avenue South, between 26th and 27th Streets, NYC
Here's the first thread on this protest.
The weather is supposed to be absolutely fantastic.
Use this thread for hitching rides, discussing sign ideas, and any other input on the protest.
I will be scouting the area for a good place for us to go afterward. Suggestions welcome.

Good luck and you have my full support. I do know from past experience (March for Justice) that regardless of how many show up, a small group of bussed in members of some liberal organization will get ALL of the media press and you may get a minor mention on the midnight news.

Bring your own signs, please, if you can.
There is plenty of material on the new Web site put up by the Network. Tom Lipscomb has a good column in today's NY Sun about Kerry and what Admiral Zumwalt thinks of him. I don't know whether anybody posted it.
Will look for parking lots later today.

Thanks for putting this on the gwb list. I always forget about that.

Who's in charge of notifying the media so you get some coverage?

Unfortunately, we will not be able to join you at the rally tomorrow. We'll be with you in spirit, though. Go get 'em!

There is a parking lot at the corner of 28th Street and Park Avenue South. All day Saturday for only $16.03.
I also garages between Lexington and Third on both 31st and 27th Streets, and also between Third and Second on 26th Street.

Give me a vote on a place to go afterwards:
Abbey Tavern, for a cozier, more old-NewYork place, and we're very Irish. Smaller than the below, but there's room for everybody. A 2-block walk, at Third Avenue.
Park Avenue Country Club. Sounds very fancy but it is not. It is a huge, noisy sports bar, and is right next door to Kerry headquarters, so we wouldn't have to walk two blocks to Third Avenue. There are $10 hamburgers and other sandwiches, all the way up to a $24 steak.
We could decide tomorrow too. Take a look.

Looking forwards to seeing everyone there!

That's pretty good, I'd frame it as a question to Teresa.
