This should be a great protest rally, folks. We are joining with other groups, and people are coming from as far away as West Virginia and DC.
Join Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry, Vietnamese-Americans Against John Kerry, and several other groups from around town.
Date: Saturday, February 28
Time: 12 noon
Place: Across from John Kerry's NYC headquarters, 373 Park Avenue South, between 26th and 27th Streets, NYC
Here's the first thread on this protest.
The weather is supposed to be absolutely fantastic.
Use this thread for hitching rides, discussing sign ideas, and any other input on the protest.
I will be scouting the area for a good place for us to go afterward. Suggestions welcome.

Garden State ping blast. We'll be pretty near Port Authority Bus Terminal too. If stanz is coming through the tunnel for this one, you can too! : )

Demand JFKerry release his military records.

I'm sorry firebrand, but work, family and Cayuga County residence preclude my participation. My thanks for representing my voice too is all I can offer.

all the Conservative Parties events are either in NY City or Albany.
It bums me out that I would have to drive 8 hours.
Have fun!!

Bump--Will be there--How far from Penn. Station?
To: hellinahandcart
Dunno. Till we all get tired of chanting, ranting, yelling, and singing, I guess. How long does the 6 train take to get to 28th Street, anyway? Can you make it by 12:30? : )
To: BobFromNJ
Go out the farthest-east door of Penn Station (Seventh Avenue side) and keep walking east for 4 blocks (Seventh-Sixth-Fifth-Madison-Park). When you get to Park, hang a right and go south--a few of the short blocks and you're there.

Thanks--And Bump!!

I have something to do Saturday morning, but I will try to get it done Friday afternoon instead. Even if I can't, it shouldn't make me too late.

As a proud VN vet (1st ID, 1965-66) and not a baby-killer, I'd love to be there and wave my "KERRY-FONDA '04" poster. Alas it's a drill weekend in the CTArNG. You guys who do go will have me there in spirit. Give 'em unmitigated hell!

My Dad served from 65-66 in Nam. Landed at Cam Rhan Bay. I think that's how you spell it. He was in Fifth Special Forces. I remember him telling me it was extremely hot when they landed.
