College relents on speech policy

A Pennsylvania college has revised a portion of its student-speech policy that critics said violated free speech and was at the center of a federal lawsuit filed by current and former students.
The Shippensburg University's Council of Trustees changed some wording in its Student Code of Conduct two weeks ago after a federal judge issued a preliminary injunction barring enforcement of some provisions.

They could have just un-recognized all the Republican and conservative groups on campus like some colleges....

As for the dispute over the anti-bin Laden fliers, Mr. Gigliotti said yesterday in an interview that if Mr. Bair was ordered to remove them, it was only because "We don't allow any paper on the doors, because paper is inflammable." It's late, and I'm sleepy, but shouldn't the word be "flammable"? And this is a college?

Oddly enough the dictionaries I've seen agree that the English common tongue has managed to arrive at the same meaning for both flammable and inflammable. I have the same reaction to the word, however. Why don't we just get rid of 'inflammable,' if it doesn't mean anything?
"Irregardless," however, is another story...I'm not giving up that fight.
