***Four of the six girls facing expulsion are from the Turner Middle School, at 59th Street and Baltimore Avenue, in West Philadelphia, where a group of girls who self identify as "dykes taking over" have allegedly sexually harassed other girls. ***

"persistently dangerous" - School-safety rankings - or just black marks?*** ***But national statistics of school crime, say experts, seem to indicate that more schools should qualify for the classification. In 2000, 72 of every 1,000 students ages 12 through 18 reported being victims of crimes at school. The average far exceeds most states' requirements for a dangerous school.

At the heart of the discrepancy may well be a reluctance on the part of educators to report campus crime fully. A survey by the National Association of School Resource Officers found that 89 percent of school police believe crime is already underreported. "It's the scarlet letter in education today," says Mr. Trump. "Administrators have said to me privately that they would rather be academically failing than be a dangerous school." ***

System-wide training aimed at clarifying the school district's policies and sensitizing educators to the issues raised on both sides of this phenomenon is scheduled for next month.

Educators need to be told how to handle this political hot potato. That's what schools of education pound into their heads, sensitivity, diversity, self-esteem....

Thanks for posting the link... this?

a group called the "Lipstick Gang" has been accused of recruiting straight girls into a lesbian lifestyle. Clashes between groups of openly gay and straight girls have erupted.

...this stuff is so bizzare that no one would believe you if you tried to make it up.

Huh? Wassat? Girls and Boys shouldn't be getting the urge under adolescence -- 12 to 15.

"This is different, but we're working on it. We have been working with the mayor's office and a number of outside groups around these policy issues."

What's the question here? If someone engages in behaviors that would get them expelled if they were the opposite sex then they should be expelled even if they are the same sex.

"There had been truancy problems. We want to make sure they feel safe going to school.

Oh you made them feel safe all right. Safe enough to think that everything they do is A-okay. I wonder where they got such a stupid idea, Gwen sweetie. Could it have been from you?

As the LipStick gang beat upon the door demanding entrance, Job's guest revealed themself to be an angel, and said unto him, "Get the hell out of town Job, and don't look back!"

Compared to the problems gay and lesbian children have had to face in public schools, this may seem like much ado about little.

Okay ...

There is only gray these days. This is a good example as to why grades do not reflect knowledge learned. There is no right or wrong and if it gets too hard they just lower the bar. No judgment shall be made...unless of course it has to do with Christianity or commandments.

When we first took our three out of public school I had some misgivings about it. "Had I done the right thing?" My wife had even more concerns. Three years out, my wife says the kids would go back "over my dead body." I no longer have any doubts we did the right thing.

We saw more than our share with just our kids, when they were in public school; records that were changed to reflect efforts--that were not taken--on behalf of our special needs child, rape threats against my daughter, by a gang of thugs, that were ignored by the self-proclaimed lesbian principle, in-class declarations of paganism, by my oldest son's teacher, etc., etc.

My wife and I have also seen and read about the rapes, shootings, homosexual activism, historical redactions, communist and leftist theology and anti-Christian programs promoted by our public education system.

The ONLY answer is: Get your kids out of there! Our children have not been exposed to this horror for several years now. True, they have not had the social interaction they would have had in public school. But, I see for myself how this has been a good thing for our family. Homeschooling has not been easy for us, but we no longer have any doubts about whether or not we did the right thing.

I did, and I don't think I was atypical. And you can't blame it on the modern media, since I'm currently pushing fifty.
