February 24, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - The Pentagon has dispatched the elite commando force that hunted down Saddam Hussein to Afghanistan for a new operation aimed at getting Osama bin Laden, officials said yesterday. Military sources confirmed that members of the shadowy Task Force 121, the unit that conducted the high-tech search for Saddam and his henchmen, have recently begun operating in the remote mountainous region along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border where bin Laden and key al Qaeda and Taliban fugitives are believed to be hiding. The Task Force is made up of highly trained Delta and SEAL commandos, as well as CIA paramilitary operators. It operates outside normal military channels.

I think the divers secured a device somehow...and the task necessitated at least two...one with diving experience hired to make sure the other neophyte was properly geared up and could complete the task. The hired one then probably was kabonged somehow and had his hose cut or something similar and tanks and belt detached. Then the neophytes could go onto their next target.

"Peregrines wintering in Mexico and migrating as far north as Alberta to mate and raise young?

Yes! And they will be migrating abroad as well. The world is their oyster!

Another sea worthy boat missing, this would be of a good size, maybe a good terrorist boat.

I didn't find much under 'dead diver', but a google for:

1425 dead divers

was better.

Virgin Islands search and rescue newsletter

On 18th of March, 2003 note that they recovered 3 divers (dead? as I recall), there was no sign of a divers boat or equipment.

http://www.visar.org/newsletters/archive/rescues/03jul-rescues.html

On so many of these they are in pdf and I can't do that.

Next, I googled for:

Search and Rescue for Dead Divers

This I want to do again, as I saw several sites for the Search and Rescue Dogs, as well as reports on other groups.

If you can read the reports, I think that you will find other reports on divers, that leave you wondering and maybe reaching for the tin foil.''

For info on the Gulf War Vets and the illnesses they have,

Just queried a friend on the uveitis and he didn't think CPV can cause an outbreak of uveitis that way. Feline coronavirus does this not the feline parvo.

Fire aboard American ship brought under control

KUWAIT CITY : The Deputy Director-General for Fire-fighting and Human Resources said Sunday the heat and fire outbreak on an American military vessel loaded with military trucks and equipment in Shuaiba Port has been brought under control and there was no extensive damage to property as reported. He also denied the incident led to the stoppage of operations at the port.

Colonel Amin Abdeen said the preventive measure taken by the ship's captain by injecting carbon dioxide into one of the compartments two days ago when the overheating was noticed went a long way to prevent a catastrophe. "When the heat failed to subside, fire-fighters from Shuaiba Marine Department and Shuaiba Industrial Area joined their American counterparts to use water and foam to cool off the heat and gain access to the vessel's engine room," he said.

Col Amin said the overheating may have been caused by fuel leakage on one of the vessel's tanks. He added the American personnel aboard the vessel were able to offload all the goods. He said no major injuries occurred in the incident apart from a fire-fighter who fainted after inhaling fumes from the heated diesel oil.

Cal,

Do you remember the horse posts that I found a long time ago? I can't find my notes.

We are having horse diseases in the South America Countries, as I recall from promedmail.org, in recent reports.

I think the horses apply to battalions, it is a word that is coming up the last month or so.

The pictures are "War Horses", so look out, it is a call of some kind.

Do the Muslims have an equivalent of April Fool's day?

If so, it doesn't happen to be March the 8th does it?

This is really perplexing!

It would be interesting to know if the dead/sick chickens are coming to us in our cat food?????????

I feed a bunch of feral cats and if they were to get sick, it would spread for miles.

When a "Lady" wants kittens, I see strange tom cats, that I know are house pets, here waiting for a turn.

It would be easy to spread it from the cat food here, back to folks houses and to the people and other animals.

When I had a Mynah Bird, we fed him dog food, also fed to the breeding Cockatiels, and other birds.

Fighting Cocks are raised on dog food. (no, I didn't fight cocks, but we had several raisers here in the valley.)

but the finding of the corpses most likely led to sweeps and searches of the area, so how does that help them?

A good find.

Brings to mind the nuclear triggers that the Feds had the Manufacturer damage while making them, had to do with the Pakistan/Khan nuclear sales.

It was the trigger as I recall, used in medical equipment or on bombs.

Recently, there was an old report, 2 muslim type, paid diving school in Australia $4,000. (cash) each to learn to dive, one showed up for one class, the other was never seen again.

Sorry both of above is from a tired memory, basic facts, are true, bits may be off a bit.

I think the $4,000. story was a link to an Australia news site.
