The tip, received in March 1999, appears to be one of the earliest signs that U.S. officials had about one of the 2001 hijackers....The hijacker was identified as Marwan al-Shehhi by The New York Times, which reported German officials tipped off the CIA.

This doesn't quite make sense. Al-Shehhi didn't arrive in America until mid-2000, if I recall correctly. What good would a German phone number have done anyone?

The 911 commission, if it continues in this vein, is going to finally get to the root cause of the 911 attack; Clinton's sustained assault on intelligence services beginning in his first term.

Dems can try to portray Bush as the "insider" with knowledge aforehand about the attacks, but if the commission is objective, its final report will point the fickle finger of fate directly at the administration of Billy Jeff "Bubba" Clinton and his co-spawn of Satan.

THAT will be a huge wake-up call for the leftists. However, don't expect to hear those reports on a TV network near you. Odds are the alphabets won't run the story.

The tip, received in March 1999, appears to be one of the earliest signs that U.S. officials had about one of the 2001 hijackers. It also may have represented a missed chance for U.S. intelligence to uncover a terror cell in Germany that was a key element of the hijacking plot.

I forget -- who was President in 1999? Someone refresh my memory.

George W. Bush should publicly take full responsibility
for not cleaning up the mess left by his predecessor.

Nonsense.

Terrorism began on Bush's watch, not Clinton's.

In fact, so did the problems of the homeless, AIDs, global warming and jock itch.
