[history]
Never mind "The Passion of the Christ" will likely prove a hit, Mel taking a hit from Hollywood types.
One tells the New York Daily News he's all but a marked man. Directors will avoid him. And one goes so far as to say audiences will move on from him. No more "Lethal Weapon" sequels. No more "Signs."

I love Cavuto more every day.
This is about one solitary life. And one horrible death. Too horrible for Hollywood to fathom. Too big for Hollywood to appreciate. Better to put it down and exact revenge on the guy who created it than say a good word and realize that guy might have re-invented Hollywood because of it. Some Hollywood elitists ... Little do they know that throngs are set to see a movie that marginalizes them.

I know a family of Penecostal people who do not watch TV, do not get newspapers, use the internet only for research, as they homeschool...have never EVER stepped foot into a theater. THEY ARE TAKING THEIR WHOLE FAMILY TO THE MOVIE THIS WEEKEND.

I'll bet my bottom dollar that those Hollywood whores will realize the success of this movie and try to duplicate it over and over and over again. Its been a few years ago, but Hollywood took a look of the musical, "Jesus Christ Superstar" and decided to make a bargain basement knock off. What a stinko!

Mel is going to make so much money on this film that he'll be able to make any film he wants, starring anyone he wants.

The only thing Hollywood respects is money. Nope. Most of Hollywood despised Titanic, which is the largest grossing film of all time. Most of Hollywood despised James Cameron for his outrageous financial success with Titanic.
Hollywood does not respect money. Instead, Hollywood respects nothing.

...those Hollywood whores... Those Hollywood whores are there because people like me, and you and the guy next door use their product. They get paid for that product and make more of the same. And the whores become icons and become filthy rich along the way (from you and me and the guy next door) then preach to the little people (us) as to how we should live our lives. What to believe in. How to think. And then they make more of their product to reinforce their beliefs in our minds as they collect more from our wallets. Vicious cycle, isn't it? The solution to this is simple, don't buy their product and the whores will go away.........

If THAT BOY will actually go and see it (with you and your wife) he may in fact have some worth.
If he refuses to go, ban him from the property and remind him that his life may be severly shortened (in a very painful manner) if he gets within 50 meters of your daughter!!!

Some Hollywood elitists will try to marginalize Mel. Little do they know that throngs are set to see a movie that marginalizes them. This is why Hollywood is throwing a hissy fit over Mel's Passion.
For years now, hissywood has been steadily losing our attention, as evidenced by the declining attendance figures. In hissywood, losing the audience's attention is almost as bad as death.
Now, here comes a movie that represents everything hissywood despises, and it looks like it will be the biggest grossing film in years.
Hissywood knows it has lost us. Now, it's up to the current crop of hissywooders to take the final step: They must run into the arms of Dr. Kervorkian.

I don't understand the decision to have the actors speak a language none of us understand and use subtitles. Those of us who are familiar with the Book, will use the subtitles merely as a placemarker....
