[history]
State Attorney General Bill Lockyer on Saturday rebuffed Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's demand that he force an end to San Francisco's same-sex marriages, calling the directive political rhetoric.
"The governor can direct the Highway Patrol. He can direct the next 'Terminator 4' movie if he chooses. But he can't direct the attorney general in the way he's attempted to do," Lockyer said, adding that Schwarzenegger's written directive "was a statement designed for consumption at the Republican convention."

It's not the Indian looking guy that's gay and has been outted.
It's Judge Warren. There's an Advocate interview with him. Plus google it, it's there somewhere.
Judge Earl Warren IS gay. People think he should recuse himself from the case.

Good idea.
In Warren County, MS, a democrat US Congressman named Bennie Thompson needs to be defeated and I'm going to assist in that endeavor.
In a small state, one person can make a difference. I am so looking forward to a new life in MS. Going home to the South.

"The state constitution does not give the governor hiring/firing power over the AG, nor does it give the legislature impeachment/removal power. (The legislature wouldn't remove him anyway.) " So what happened in California when Clinton became president (hack cough hack.....spit) and asked all the 50 AG's to resign and appointed his own...?

If you really want to do that it's $82 and you have to make appointments now. I think that might only cover the license. Isn't there an additional charge for the ceremony itself, like another 60 bucks?
Consider carefully before going through with this plan though. If one does marry a pig, and the license is considered valid, the pig could sue for divorce, and one might end up paying alimoney to the pig. And if the pig should slip away and have piglets, then one must contest paternity right away, and even then one might still have to pay child support.

Seriously, what's everyone doing on Ash Wednesday? I can't say for certain for my own self. I'm getting the results of CAT scans on Monday, so everything is up in the air... : (

The humidity is murder on hairdos and your books turn to mold and the mosquitos are carrying West Nile virus and then there are flying cockroaches....
Nope, I'm not going home to the South. I remember it all too well.

Those were US attorneys, not state AG's. Different job.
