[history]
State Attorney General Bill Lockyer on Saturday rebuffed Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's demand that he force an end to San Francisco's same-sex marriages, calling the directive political rhetoric.
"The governor can direct the Highway Patrol. He can direct the next 'Terminator 4' movie if he chooses. But he can't direct the attorney general in the way he's attempted to do," Lockyer said, adding that Schwarzenegger's written directive "was a statement designed for consumption at the Republican convention."

My husband wants to vote for someone who might be able to win, and who he thinks will win the primary--Bill Jones.
To: little jeremiah
can you please back that up with links to legal or news records?
I am in an ongoing flamewar on another site on the gaymarriage subject, and my opponents swear this has nothing to do with using the government to hammer the mainstream into toeing the line drawn by homosexual agitators. I think it does, and any concrete proof that it HAS BEEN SUCH would be very VERY useful.
Thanks!

Ooh, I like Kentucky also. Husband is from Kentucky, but we're going into the deep South. Vicksburg is built on hills, on a bluff overlooking the muddy Mississipp.

I will try. Now I may be mixing up judges but I read a lot of these articles (I do the Homosexual Agenda Ping list and it has been extremely busy lately). I'll get back to you.

Warren declined Bay Windows request for an interview. His clerk, Mary Melvin, said that although he gave KRON-TV an interview after the dog-mauling verdict, he decided not to talk to the media again at least until after the case completely leaves his court."

The sick thing is that judges in CA must recuse themselves from any case involving homosexuals if they are members of the notorious homophobic Boy Scouts of America. Everyone should be aware of this.
A homosexual judge can preside over momentous cases such as this "gay" marriage crap, but a judge who is a member of BSA must not. In fact, they tried to fire all the judges in CA who were members of the BSA, but watered it down to recusal.

It was funded by Issa, also Kaloogian was involved.

Of course, I wouldn't be able to find a pitchfork right now if I tried.....but yes, you got the idea.
Seriously, what's everyone doing on Ash Wednesday? I'm seeing The Passion, then I got a few hours in the afternoon, then I got church.

"I meant pry Newsom out of his desk and bring him over to the police."
Yeah - right . .
Look closely at the armed enforcers of the will of the mayor of San Franciso and also at those chanting "This is WRONG - This is WRONG!
Their open demonstrations against homosexuality is a FELONY in our neighboring country Canada . .

Then the Attorney General is violating his oath to uphold the laws of California and Arnold should move on down the chain of command until he finds somebody interested in upholding their oath rather than their ideology. If Arnold orders one of Lockyer's underlings to do something, Lockyer simply countermands the order. Lockyer has hiring and firing power over his subordinates because they aren't elected. But Lockyer is. Arnold can order Lockyer around all he wants, but Lockyer is accountable to the voters, not the governor.
The state constitution does not give the governor hiring/firing power over the AG, nor does it give the legislature impeachment/removal power. (The legislature wouldn't remove him anyway.)
Your only recourse is recall. Let's do it.

Darrell Issa is the alarm guy. He didn't start the recall but he gave it a huge cash infusion. Melanie Morgan(?) and someone else (Shawn Steel?) started the idea. Howard Kaloogian chaired the process statewide. I'm voting for him in the primary.

You know if we're going to move instead of marrying our pets and farm animals, I think we should all go to a borderline state, where our votes could make a difference. You know, maybe take over a town in New Mexico (Bush lost by like 400 votes)
