Poor Buddy.
A true victim of circumstance...Buddy would have made a great pet for a more deserving family than that scumbucket.

It is pretty devastating. It's like losing a member of the family.

The White House Post Office workers are bound to go postal after the avalanche of Get Well cards from all you bleeding hearts! Are you typically an insensitive jerk, or do you save it for the occasion of other's grief?

R.I.P. Spotty.

SPCA should have stepped in on Buddy's behalf before it was too late.

My sympathy. It is a genuine tragedy in the life of the owner. (Been through it thrice)

Why I have CNN on, I don't know, but they just reported that Spot had a series of strokes and had to be put to sleep.

OMG, I'm so sorry to heat that. I remember your mentioning his special health issue and I know how very lucky he was to have you in his life.
Ugh, they just don't live long enough! I hope that before long you'll bless another one. ;-)

They sure should have.
If I remember correctly, Buddy was a chocolate Lab.
Labs are one of the most gentle and loyal dogs around.
Too bad Buddys' owner couldn't have gotten "fixed".

The Christmas video was about Barney, George and Laura's Scottie, who was a present from Christie Todd Whitman. He is just a few years old. Spotty, being older and wiser, patiently endured Barney's hijinks.

I always thought that Spot was the source of many "leaks".
