[history]
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger ordered California's attorney general Friday to take legal action to stop San Francisco from granting marriage licenses to gay couples.
In a letter to Attorney General Bill Lockyer, Schwarzenegger directed the state's top lawyer "to take immediate steps" to get a definitive court ruling declaring the city's actions to be illegal.

This may end up as two fer for our side.
Arnold may get the mayor of Gay Frisco and Attorney General Bill Lockyer when Lockliar refuses to do anything.
Lockliar is a rat crook who has disabled the effectiveness of his office.

The Republican governor "feels that we've come to a point where we're starting down a dangerous path and it leads to anarchy at some point," Stutzman said. "It's time for this to end." About time! Thanks Meek.

I think I heard that the state is NOT going to process the ones that are same sex. So, technically, they are NOT recognized marriages (for now, anyway).
After that, it would depend on what the courts determine. And knowing the Ninth Circus and other Left Coast courts, anything goes, as we all well know ...
After that, SCOTUS. Then it's a possible Constitutional Amendment. It's a long road, I think.

Judge Ronald Evans Quidachay denied the Campaign for California Families' request for a temporary restraining order Friday, saying conservative groups failed to prove same-sex weddings would cause irreparable harm. In a separate case, another judge declined to order an immediate stop to the marriages Tuesday.
How do same-sex weddings "irreparable harm" affect anything other than state legislation? And who voted in the law? In the end what would we gain by jailing Newsom and making him a martyr? Even buffalo Barney is condemning the trend, for now. Allow the leftist wildfire to continue to burn their national forest.
