What people don't seem to understand is the California Supreme Court isn't some ultra leftist bastion like the Florida or Massachussets Supreme Court. This will be struck down when it reaches them.

However, the Superior Court judge is playing games and trying to keep hold of the case for as long as he possibly can.

That's just the point... but they walk into a court with the marriage license, and force another judge to rule on the legality of their sham marriage.
