| Mark Morford, there is no less sanitary human behavior than gay sex

[history]
Is your god telling you, like it tells G.W. Bush every night, that your unwanted unprovoked ultraviolent war against a nearly defenseless nation is not only justified and righteous, but is His deepest wish?
And does your religion tell you, like it tells so many of the Christian Right, that homosexuals are a dire threat to humankind and should be stopped at all costs before the so-called gay agenda sneaks into the playground and the drinking water and the "Spongebob" scripts and starts covertly converting our blessed innocent hetero children to a life of sin?

Whenever I read one of his editorials, I ALWAYS come away with more pity than disgust for him.
If he was really, reaaly secure in his philosophy of life, there would be no need for him to rant and rave like he does on an almost daily basis. I'd like to believe that it's that Holy Spirit he despises so much pricking his conscience and causing an internal war within himself.
Me thinks he doth protest to much, and I for one hope that his sick foolish ranting is an unrecognized (by him) fight against the ultimate Truth he also knows.
I don't wish him Hell, but he seems "hellbound" to get there on his on steam.

I love Morford. His over-the-top hysteria puts him just behind Mark Steyn in entertainment value - for a very different reason, of course, but I still look forward to reading whatever outrageous imagery his fevered brain cooks up each week.

It is not too late. You can heed the call, make the change, intervene today in a hardcore religious person's desperate life, present them with a new way, a fresh path, introduce them to their own personal Jesus: themselves.
This is truly the voice of satan writing through this pervert that we call Miss Morford. I don't know when I've read anything this diabolical. Is Joseph Campbell really as much of a misanthrope and anti-theist as Morford claims?

If you don't believe in God, then forget my comment...otherwise, I say that because I believe that no one can do anything without God's having given him that ability. That was the reasoning behind my comment to sandpit.

I'm with you... I tried the other way - every other way. If I am not with God, there is nothing for me but death. I understand that now. Morford is dead and he doesn't even know it.

Thank you. Believe me, I did everything I could to avoid God! The day came when He said "Enough!", and I've been grateful ever since.

We must all remember this fact: Liberals cannot tolerate the idea of God or of even a supreme being, as it means there is someone in the universe that is smarter than they are.

Of course, the truth of the matter is that, in all likelihood, 99% of those who support the Iraq War didn't have to "consult the Almighty" to arrive at the conclusion that it was the proper thing to do. Saddam was murdering millions, threatening many more, was grooming two even more vicious sons to take over for a few more generations of rule-by-terror, the previous 13 years of UN and US resolutions were proven ineffective far beyond possible doubt, and horribly weak-kneed precedents were being set for future tyrants to learn to exploit.
Theological conferencing was (and is) unnecessary to arrive at the best, and only, logical course of action... but that hardly bothers the Left when they are deferring to their strength: "hyper-sensitive over-reaction" (nodding to Ann Coulter's column today).

This childish drivel proves only that the Chronicle hires writers through gayfirmative action. He doesn't write for the Chronicle, only for their web site. And he's been suspended even from that low-rent gig at least once for going way over the line. Which is saying something considering how far off in the distance that line is.

Plus, she's not dependable. That drug habit that she often brags about in her columns led to several extended and unannounced "vacations" last year.
I wonder who she thinks she's fooling.

Yes, as a matter of fact, he just finished reading this very column. The atmospheric pressure has dropped, the temperature has gotten colder. Dark clouds are forming overhead. Yeah, I'd say I've seen him in better moods.

WTF was THAT all about? That was one of the most unreadable articles I've encountered in a while.
What is it about snide leftist screed writers? They think of themselves as these great fountains of wit, but it comes off to the rest of us as unreadable trash on the same literary level as Tiger Beat.
