Good find.
Mr. Energy Secretary and former UN Ambassador helped bjclinton adopt North Korea.
To: yonif
You can definitely tell that.
As the Clinton former Energy Secretary and current governor of New Mexico he was being interviewed on CNN regarding the NE power outage, and he was actually a decent honorable guy when pointing out problems, unlike Hillary who tried to blame it on Bush.
And he also delivered a Spanish language rebuttal to the SOTU address earlier this year.

This is a English speaking country.
How effective is running counter if 99% of the country can't understand you?

Richardson would be a tough opponent. He signed CCW (twice) in New Mexico, and he's a governor.

At first I thought Richardson was the Mexican Official.Ya know, me too.... At first I thought that he was that Chinese official who used to be in charge of the Loa Alamos National Nuclear Lab in New Mexico???? Or was he the guy who worked in NYC who tried to assist in Monica's relocation? But then I realized that he is just another one of those new Mexican politicians.......
To: yonif
If Bill knows what's good for him, he won't get in between Hillary and the White House.
There are a lot of lonely places to bury bodies in New Mexico.
To: Dan from Michigan
He just does not look Presidential which you must have.
To: NotchJohnson
Richardson has the potential to be a tough nut to crack.
He's cut taxes in New Mexico which was hugely successful. And he sounds credible. He's one I'd worry about in the future.

Didn't we have a story posted here in the last few days that said New Mexico is looking at a state bill that would REQUIRE ALL VEHICLES (ALL- not just new vehicles or the vehicles owned by proven drunks and druggies- no matter how old the vehicles are)to have installed a device which would prevent the driver from starting the car unless they could breathe properly into this device?
Something along those lines.
Why would I consider a PRESIDENTIAL candidate who would punish 100% of the population for the infractions of less than 15% or so of the state's population? Am I having a CRS moment here? Did that story appear on Free Republic? Help me, here, FREEPERS!!
To: yonif
Richardson could be the manchur.... I mean El bandito Presidente candidate

Richardson IS the Mexican Official. He's a Mexican. He changed his name. Who would expect anyone from a totalitarian country to comprehend the U.S. Constitution?

Am I having a CRS moment here? Did that story appear on Free Republic? Help me, here, FREEPERS!! Several times. To get to the stories quickly, click on "Topics" at the top right of the browse page, and then click "New Mexico" on the list. There have been four or five posted in the past few days. New Mexico has one advantage many states don't; the state constitution limits the legislature to 30 days in even numbered years (60 days in odd numbered years). The session ended at noon today with the bill waiting to be heard in the Senate Judiciary committee. From the volume of calls senators were getting from angry constituents, I imagine it will have a hard time getting traction next year though the bill sponsor says he will try again.
