He doesn't need to wait till 2008 to run for President--he can run for President in 2006 (of Mexico). That would be healthier than opposing Hillary in 2008.

His first term as Governor is up in 2006. Whether he runs again or runs but promises to stay all four years (through 2010) will be a good indication of future plans.
(p.s. maybe not; Democrats are not known for keeping promises, especially if a better elected position may come along)

Richardson is a notch above their current presidential crop.

It simply amazes me that people like Richardson actually think that they can actually win the vote to be president. He is a nothing, nobody, Klinton butt kisser and nothing else. What qualifications does he have, besides the usual dem give away of our secrets and military tech to the bad guys?

that bill was generated in the NM House.
If the Gov signs it, then it's a useful tool to use against him in the future. But I think to date he has not shown to take either side in it.
