The big loser tonight? John Zogby, whose last poll had it at 47% for Kerry, nobody else above 23% or so. What's our word today, boys and girls? C-r-e-d-i-b-i-l-i-t-y. My, that's a big word!

How can any poll possibly miss a candidate by 15%??? In Edwards case, Zogby missed nearly HALF of his support!

That is exactly right, and Kerry tremendously underperformed tonight. An extended nomination battle. Excellent for us.

Besides the idea that the Rats are getting jittery about Kerry, does anyone else get the impression that maybe Kerry's pompous, chest-beating act is starting to wear thin with the public?

We'll see, and half of me hopes your right. But I think Hillary can't wait, and is trying to find some way to run this year, even if VP. The other half of me hopes she runs, so we can beat her and ruin her political career.

I still hold out hope that the Greens choose Dean and he accepts and that Kucinich goes to November on the Natural Law Party while Nader runs as an independent

you know those polls showing Edwards "gaining" on Bush in the head to head matchup are coming. As sure as the sun will rise, they are being spun up now by the usual suspects.

But more likely its the Clinton preparation for Edwards/Hillary in '04, which could offer her potentially 16 years in the White House. For those who say she'd never take 2nd billing, she already did when she hitched her wagon to Bill. She want power, and they know how to wield it even without being in the figurehead position. 900 FBI files...

IMO, the Clintons and Edwards cut a deal waaay back...

HOWARD DEAN SPEAKING NOW. Any wagers out there that he has a nervous breakdown! How about another "Yeahhhhhhrrraawwwhrr"? Poor guy, this is embarrassing for him and us in a sense. Poor libs.

What a friggin' management of reality...the guy LOST and his people get up there and act like he WON. I miss the old days of TRUTH, even among Democrats, where on election night, the losers showed long faces and spoke in dejected terms and congratulated the winner. Management of Truth. Management of Realities. Lack of Objective Truth. Sad.

Hard to say, because it is foolhardy to account for taste with RATS.

No post about Kerry here on FR goes on long without someone asking if he served in Viet Nam.

It could be that he's overplayed that with the general public too, even the Dims.

Also his emphasis on Viet Nam has begun to morph into enquiries about his actual service and what he did afterwards.

The results from Milwaukee County and Dane County (Madison) are just beginning to come in. Those are two big Dem counties.

Looking ahead to March 2 what do you think?

I believe that will be the end for Edwards...unless he squeaks by tonight and gains momentum. Each of the "super tuesday" constituencies is hardcore commie, with the exception of georgia.

What Dean just said was the unfortunate truth here. If you reside in Wisconsin for 10 days, you can register on election day and vote.
