***Ketchup Boy Only Served For FOUR MONTHS***
Stardate: 0402.17

We know the media shills for the democrats, but it's about time some one of the VERY FEW honest media get on this point and two others:
We want to know about those famous wounds that he takes credit for......(I'm not saying I would want them, but he is making big claims about his service) but we have a right to see the records.
All my friends had to spend 12 months in Nam....why did ketchup boy only serve 4 months and then come home and fight the war and call those poor guys without deferments baby killers and war criminals
I am telling you my friends, more is coming about what really happened in kerry's war experience, and it won't be a pretty thing to see.

AND A $950 MILLION business for Kerry's cousin!!! And a multi-million dollar deal with the Chinese with Neil Bush for doing, well, nothing apparently, but I think it involves prostitutes.
It's a standard politican thing, and I despise it on both sides of the aisle.

I give up. What's your point?
I knew some Air Force guys who spent two tours in RVN...in Saigon...had their own apartment near their favorite bars...and hootch maids to wait on them hand and foot....

How can it be the center of an enemy position if there is only one enemy soldier? And wasn't it a lone wounded enemy soldier retreating as fast as he could?

Please tell me how President Bush 41' or 43' normalized trade with Vietnam (while family members are still looking for remains) helped Neil Bush? You are comparing apples and oranges.

Thanks. Kerry is Forbes-Winthop on his mother's side and all Jewish (same as me!) on his father's side. He never ever ever ever was forthright about this when he ran for office in the people's republic of Massachusetts. He always pretended he was Irish.
(I lived *was trapped there* for 25 years) Go look up Forbes family and Winthrop family on google. Winthrop was the first governor of Massachusetts

Well, he did spend time on a naval vessel--far from any action. The four months refers to the swift boat. Basically, he was only in "it" for four months and he seems to have received medals he didn't earn. BTW, he used his three dubious purple hearts to petition the Army to let him out early. This guy is full of it and the media that's lying for him is even worse.

EXACTLY! - 4 months was nothing - we used to say you could do 4 months "standing on your head."

It seems Kerry kept track of every scratch he recieved... The thing that seems strange to me is how his term of duty is so well documented, right down to video clips. How does he explain that?

I see Kerry's service was the same as a lot of other soldiers'. He did his duty and tried to get out as quickly as possible. I can't fault him for that. But he's the one that touts his tour of duty as such a qualification for becoming president. I just don't see him as fit to be commander-in-chief. His after-war activities prove that to me. While I think that the details of his in-war activities might suffer under close scrutiny, I don't think we should go there. It's too long after the deed; just accept the fact that he did his military duty as did so many others (including Pres. Bush).

Silver Stars are pretty cheap if you're a Naval Officer/'rat politician. Look at LBJ's:
ARMY SILVER STAR MEDAL
TO
LIEUTENANT COMMANDER LYNDON BAINES JOHNSON,
UNITED STATES NAVAL RESERVE
"For gallantry in action in the vicinity of Port Moresby and Salamaua, New Guinea on June 9, 1942. While on a mission of obtaining information in the Southwest Pacific area, Lieutenant Commander Johnson, in order to obtain personal knowledge of combat conditions, volunteered as an observer on a hazardous aerial combat mission over hostile positions in New Guinea. As our planes neared the target area they were intercepted by eight hostile fighters. When, at this time, the plane in which Lieutenant Commander Johnson was an observer, developed mechanical trouble and was forced to turn back alone, presenting a favorable target to the enemy fighters, he evidenced marked coolness in spite of the hazards involved. His gallant action enabled him to obtain and return with valuable information."
Johnson's plane turned back with generator problems 15 minutes short of the target. They were not attacked by enemy planes. None of the crew received any citation. He was cargo. But he still got the Silver Star. I doubt Kerry's is worth much more.
