Isn't Rick Kaplan the Clinton lackey who butted heads with Lou Dobbs at CNN?

Was Eric Sorenson any good, why is Rick Kaplan in demand. Hasn't he screwed up ABC and CNN already

Kaplan will be needed to run the DNC agi-prop campaign for MSNBC.

MSNBC, already the lowest of the three cable news networks will likely meet it's death with this fool as the head cheese. I believe CNN began it's downward trend with Kaplan as the chief.

there is nothing worth watching on this channel. Joe Scarborough has been given blood transfusions from Chris Matthews, its over for him.

I'll never understand how our biggest businesses and governmental agencies continue to promote people who have a proven record of failure. Sports, business, politics...

Could be an interesting morning when Don Imus comes back after a three day weekend. He has said some things about Kaplan that could prove hard to take back. There were rumors months ago of Imus talking to Roger Ailes.

Guess this means that Ed Schultz (new liberal on radio)will have a home on TV. He's been on Scarborough a few times...probably will be taking over the show when Clint..er..Kaplan takes over.

Wow, what a brilliant plan. Hire this proven loser to save another proven loser (MSNBC). These guys need to stop hiring their liberal buddies and hire somebody that knows how to produce a quality (UNBIASED) news show.

In an effort to do for CNN what he did for PMSNBC, kaplan is expected to force ratings from 0.5 to 0.1 and then get fired....we can hope he will eventually visit all liberal news outlets

A Liberal was fired at MSNB and another liberal is hired. I guess that Chris Matthews is staying at MSNBC.

All MSNBC token Conservatives should dust off their resumes. Despite the expected assuances to the contrary, the writing is on the proverbial wall.
