Kaplan can't afford to dump one of the few shows (often the ONLY show) on MSDNC that actually beats CNN or FNC in its time slot.Especially when one of the first things you know he'll do is pitch Joe Scarborough into the street, even though Scarborough Country is one of MSDNC's higher-rated shows.

Kaplan sure can help to save the ratings over MSNBC! - NOT -
Kaplan is a Klintonite, slept in the WH lincoln bedroom (they better delouse that place after the Klintons), golf buddy of bubba, CNN ex-president (saw the ratings of CNN cut by a third) - I suppose CNN is not lefty enough and MSNBC want to commit suicide. Seriously, what's worth watching over MSNBC anyway - NOTHING is my answer.

Dobbs even got outed by some reporter for donating money to Bush campaign in 2000.
Dobbs hates the immigration proposal and hates spending. Come to think of it, Dobbs is in all likelihood a Freeper. If not he would fit in nicely.

"Dobbs has been openly at war with CNN over his being a Republican. for years and years. He even left for a couple of years and their ratings went down."
Dobbs left to run the website "space.com" during the dotcom boom.

Dobbs left to run the website "space.com" during the dotcom boom. That was after he quit because Kaplan forced Dobbs to relinquish control of his program while it was on the air in order to run live coverage of a completely meaningless "I feel your pain" Clinton speech.

A Liberal was fired at MSNB and another liberal is hired. I guess that Chris Matthews is staying at MSNBC.

All MSNBC token Conservatives should dust off their resumes. Despite the expected assuances to the contrary, the writing is on the proverbial wall.

Thanks. I thought that was the case but had not seen the numbers to prove his popularity. Yeah, I don't think Imus worries about what anyone may do to him, including Kaplan.
