I am totally with you on this idea of going after the biased media but I think it's mistaken timing and method. The media almost NEVER admits the obvious -- that they are biased. If we boycott because they admitted it we are encouraging the wrong thing: more denial.
Instead, we should punish the liars. After all, admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery. (We can dream.) Now is the time to go after NBC or CBS news. I would put CBS first because they have had reporters try to expose them (Bernard Goldberg) and they are still lying about it.
Actually, I think the best way to get the major networks is to bring down their ratings. Turn them off. No ratings, no advertisers.
With the biased press our goal is different. We must reduce their circulation.
I would love to see conservative groups join together and actually advertising against the biased media, asking people to cancel subscriptions and change channels. The general public is being lied by these jokers. We must somehow inform them ourselves.

"I deplore... the putrid state into which our newspapers have passed and the malignity, the vulgarity, and mendacious spirit of those who write for them... These ordures are rapidly depraving the public taste and lessening its relish for sound food. As vehicles of information and a curb on our funtionaries, they have rendered themselves useless by forfeiting all title to belief... This has, in a great degree, been produced by the violence and malignity of party spirit." --Thomas Jefferson to Walter Jones, 1814. ME 14:46

Its about time Conservatives stated using this tactic. Its been used by the Liberals for a long time. Back in 1995, I was working for a Republican Congressman on the Telecommunications and Commerce Committee and was invited to the NBC Christmas Party. It was attended by all their stars as well as representatives for all their sponsors. At the time Rush Limbaugh was on TV and his show despite high ratings was being broadcast at 2:30 AM in the morning in New York. Every time the ratings went up the shows time was moved to a later time slot. During the daytime Rush was relegated to selling his own ties despite an audience of over 25 million listeners. At the party I inquired as to if ATT wireless was considering advertising on Rush noting that the rates are dirt cheap. An angry representative of the company responded that we can reach that audience elsewhere. I knew at that time that they were getting pressured. The pressure is also put on Newspapers by the retailers that are run by Democrats. This explains why much of the press is Liberal.

I don't buy much P&G, our Penney's went out of business, I ate at MicKie D's tonight, but won't in the near future after seeing this, can't afford Cadillac, don't need Kodak, won't need HP, we just got a Home Depot last month - won't be going there now, and Clinton's marlet bubble cleaned out my investments, so I don't need Schwab.
BTW - I was down to near zero in my stock portfoplio before Bush was ever declared the winner. My $180,000 in Mar. 2000 had shrunk to about $10,000 by late November. They were admittedly mostly high-risk stocks, but the rampant fraud that was allowed in those times ABSOLUTELY caused me ALL of the mentioned losses.

BRAVO!!!
We cannot allow the mainstream liberal media to continue to be a special interest group for the democrat party.
It's bad enough the teachers union is. It is ugly enough that the federal employees union is.
And, if advertisers think they can get by with having a major portion of their consumer base ridiculed and demeaned by the very media they are paying top dollars to advertise their products, then we can no longer remain silent.
Tell the advertisers that republicans & conservatives have had it, were mad as hell, and we ain't goin' to buy it anymore.

Doing the best we can. It's worked before, it can work again.
The risks are too great if we do nothing. My note looks lie this and Freepers feel free to use it as well.
"Your continued sponsorship of ABC network television is troubling in the light of recent revelations that ABC News is guilty of presenting a biased picture against our President Bush. As loyal consumers of many P and G products we ask your consideration in renegotiating the business you do with ABC and its parent company. Please make it know to them that one sided opinions against the Republican party and this President will not be tolerated in a free society. We cannot and will not abide by a biased and highly prejudicial antagonism against this President. Best regards,"

Man, let me tell you,
we'd need one of those Apple

just to keep track of
all the companies we are
supposed to boycott!
