Don't forget their system of legal fascism they have concocted where you are constantly looking over your shoulder at home or work fearing lawsuits, and their perverted systems of reverse discrimination and political correctness. There is far more wickedness here than the eye can see.

But, but but: As some media moron said recently we still haven't heard from "the silent majority" who don't remember seeing him.

I just thought of something regarding Michael Moore's dental records. The media were given the opportunity to look at the records in the White House, but they weren't supposed to have copies of the medical records. How did Michael Moore get a copy of this?

Has it ever been more clear who controls the mainstream media in this country? Left leaning 50 somethings whose worldview was shaped and frozen by Viet Nam. Their biggest hope for traction comes from another institution they have destroyed, public education, which has taught post-Viet Nam generations what a miserable failure that war was.

President Bush is a product of that generation, he answered the Viet Nam parallel question during a press conference in the lead up to Iraq. This would be different, he said, because the military would know their mission, be free to execute their plans and be supported. John Kerry, by his two votes alone on Iraq, demonstrated he has nothing but the same muddied, political thinking of his party's leadership in the 60s.

This only raises more questions.
How did Lt.Bush get his teeth and feet to Alabama while he was A.W.O.L
The American people have a right to know.

"Gen. William Turnipseed, the 187th's Tactical Reconnaissance Group's former commander, recanted his statement that he couldn't remember if Bush reported for duty, now saying his memory is faulty because he's in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's disease. "

I'm sure this isn't escaping anyone who viwed the related thread yesterday but note now whoit is whose being portrayed as recanting. A hatchet job will be done on Turnipseed(as he feared) rather than the press accepting responsibility or retracting anything.

And then,

"Retired Lt. Col. Bill Burkett had claimed he heard Bush aides talking about having his Guard records scrubbed and saw it happen.
But the Globe reported Thursday that Burkett's corroborating witness, former Chief Warrant Officer George O. Conn, disputes virtually every point in Burkett's account."

Corroborating witness? One who is given as a source at the time the story is coming out? One who would be talked to BEFORE it was printed to corroborate it?

Oh, I get it, the CWO is recanting too.

They have no new policy suggestions. They have no new plans for America.

Well actually they do have one suggestion. They'd forward our policy and plans to Kofi Annan for his approval.

...the media has moved that proverbial goal post to it's final fall-back position

I don't know, they may move that goalpost back over the fence, across the parking lot and into the ditch before November.

By the way, there are NO DENTAL RECORDS FOR MICHAEL MOORE; he wouldn't take the donut out of his mouth long enough to have the x-rays taken.

The media would rather not make mention of his meritorious record at all. Better to drop the whole thing and let the accusations remain a bitter footnote than to tout the accomplishments that are outlined in the evaluations.

I hadn't even thought of that. Good point.

I can't remember the names of more thatna two or three of the guys I served with in this period, but if anyone had gone missing or AWOL, I'd remember that forever.

I can remember the names of maybe a dozen people that I went to college with and that was just a decade ago. I remember close friends and those that were weird. Aside from that most I would not know if they walked up and slapped me. And I went to class with these people for years.

"so the statement that you cannot prove a negative is a good rule of thumb in almost all situations"

Indeed, but my reply was to a poster who claimed that it was "scientifically impossible" to ever prove a negative.

And that's simply not the case. In fact, anytime that you can exhaust all possibilities in a set, you *can* prove a negative.

"he's in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's disease."

Alzheimer's causes loss of near term memory, not long past recollections. Hate to burst a bubble but some dim is going to point this out too.

That's an excellent point. I don't remember all that many people from years ago, but I will never forget the one who disappeared abruptly (accused of rape, I found out later) or the one who got caught making off with company supplies.
AWOL is serious. I can't imagine that it would have gone unnoticed by others. Esp. during that era - if one guy could just leave and still get an honorable discharge, there would have been a lot of guys walking out.
