Dad Slugs Man Who Offers Money To Girl For Sex
YORK, Pa. -- What would you do if a man offered to pay your teenage daughter for sex while she was shopping?
Jimmy Hunt punched the man in the face. Prosecutors in York charged Hunt with disorderly conduct and simple assault. But they later dropped the charges after concluding that no jury would convict him.
Prosecutor Bill Graff said you can't take the law into your own hands, but it's likely that they'd get parents who'd say that's what they'd do if it was their daughter.
There's no disputing the fact that Hunt punched Armondo Hernandez in the face after he approached Hunt's 17-year-old daughter while she was shopping for nail polish at a Wal-Mart. Hunt called police after the incident.
Hernandez has pleaded guilty to indecent assault and harassment.

I loved asking Pat Mytop her name, over and over.

These tickle me!
Part of my job at the Renaissance Festival is playing with patrons, and one way we do that is to assign them an identity and act like we know the person we decide they are. I've met more of the Dover family (namely Ben and Eileen) than a stick can be shaken at.
However, my favorite name to bestow on a lady (and it always gets bestowed on a friend of mine) is Lydia Bestpot.

You are such an iron-clad fool. Nullification as a legal theory, as I said in plain English my latest post, may NOT be argued to a jury. Nullificatiom, meaning that the jury simply refuses to convict, is within the power of any jury that has ever been assembled, or ever will be.
You need to learn to read with comprehension and then think about what you read. These are basic skills. You seem to have way too much time on your hands, so you could try it.
Grow up. Wise up. Or if you really want to improve your life (and stop bothering the grown-ups on FR), take a stab at both. Report back when you've made some progress. I won't hold my breath.

The police are not required to protect Mr Hunt's little girl from anything...
They will, however, be more than happy to take a report, attempt to find the body and if possible arrest the perp.
Don't hold your breath on the last one.

Jury Nullification: What lawyers and judges won't tell you about juries by Sam Smith Address:http://emporium.turnpike.net/P/ProRev/juries.htm
You are such an iron-clad fool.
Your personal attacks betray you as the fool, not me.
Nullification as a legal theory, as I said in plain English my latest post, may NOT be argued to a jury.
A couple of State constitutions differ:
Maryland and Indiana clearly declare the nullification right and two others Georgia and Oregon refer to it obliquely.
Nullificatiom, meaning that the jury simply refuses to convict, is within the power of any jury that has ever been assembled, or ever will be.
And an impartial, informed jury is part of our BOR's.. Juries should be informed of this right to ignore unreasonable law, as it applies to the case at hand.
In effect, you are holding your breath and having a little snit fit because I dare challenge your 'lawyerly' wisdom..
Get off your high horse billy, you ain't a congressman yet.

Tell the dude I was her pimp, bargain a deal, take his money, threaten to arrest him claiming to be an undercover cop, punch him in the face and tell him to leave dodge or else he is under arrest........

Hey, that's pretty creative! You don't need to pretend to be a cop, though. Just pretend to be her pimp, take his money, tell him to meet you out in the (dark and deserted) parking lot near the dumpsters, then kick his a$$.

What was the daughter dressed like?

I applaud the father for protecting his daughter. And of course the perp is in the wrong: He came here illegally, and I am not surprised that he continues to break laws while he enjoys his stay in the US of A.
But if the young girl was typical (wearing belly- and booby- flaunting Britneywear), her dress invited -- rather than discouraged -- the perp's lecherous leers. There is a reason he thought she, rather than other girls in the store, would respond favorably to his offer.
