Yes, I am aware of the fact that a few state constitutions offer an exception to the general rule about arguing the right of jury nullification. Read what I originally wrote, with care this time.

When I DO become a Congressman, I will still consider you to be sloppy in your research, and obnoxious in your posts. Some things don't change.

Have a nice day.

You can verify without arresting. It's too easy for a cop to put the cuffs on someone BEFORE checking. That's wrong. You're wrong here. If needed, you can arrest later.

The way some of these young girl dress now-a-days its disgusting.

Try shopping for a young girl in a department store sometime. I've heard tell that parents are ordering clothes out of L. L. Bean catalogs to avoid the Dirty Old Man renderings at the department stores.

"Jimmy Hunt punched the man in the face. Prosecutors in York charged Hunt with disorderly conduct and simple assault. But they later dropped the charges after concluding that no jury would convict him.

There is still hope out there. It's slim but it is still there.

"But if the young girl was typical (wearing belly- and booby- flaunting Britneywear), her dress invited -- rather than discouraged -- the perp's lecherous leers. There is a reason he thought she, rather than other girls in the store, would respond favorably to his offer."

That's a bullshit argument. That girl should not have been accosted by that pervert for any reason.

I do the same thing to protect my wife or teenage daughter. No real-life Indecent Proposal could fly with me, no matter how much someone offered me for it.

Why the hell did the prosecutors even bother filing charges in the first place?

YORK, Pa. -- What would you do if a man offered to pay your teenage daughter for sex while she was shopping?

Tell her that castrating the SOB would only be a momentary pleasure and would be bound to get the neighbors gossipping.

I would like to shake this guy's hand. Just like that of the guy who shot a creep who had molested his son.

Jury nullification is ALWAYS justified, if the jury can make a fully informed decision.
That's a juries function, to find justice in the case at hand..

Sadly, many so-called conservatives here at FR do not agree:

Go tell it to the Spartans..
Jury nullification is one of our most needed inalienable rights.

The system worked with OJ.. Better a guilty man walk that an innocent be convicted..
He walked because the cops & prosecutors got overzealous.
