We’re going to need a thread II as this one is starting to slow the site down. Also, on the new thread, please stop posting the name and pictures of the person you think the woman may be. The evidence doesn’t support the claim and we don’t need to be doing that. Wait for it to come out. It will. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1076893/posts

CAMPAIGN DRAMA ROCKS DEMOCRATS -Drudge Alert (Thread II)

CAMPAIGN DRAMA ROCKS DEMOCRATS

Update 2:

CAMPAIGN DRAMA ROCKS DEMOCRATS: KERRY FIGHTS OFF MEDIA PROBE OF RECENT ALLEGED INFIDELITY, RIVALS PREDICT RUIN

**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**

A frantic behind-the-scenes drama is unfolding around Sen. John Kerry and his quest to lockup the Democratic nomination for president, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.

Intrigue surrounds a woman who recently fled the country, reportedly at the prodding of Kerry, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

A serious investigation of the woman and the nature of her relationship with Sen. John Kerry has been underway at TIME magazine, ABC NEWS, the WASHINGTON POST and the ASSOCIATED PRESS, where the woman in question once worked.

MORE

A close friend of the woman first approached a reporter late last year claiming fantastic stories -- stories that now threaten to turn the race for the presidency on its head!

In an off-the-record conversation with a dozen reporters earlier this week, General Wesley Clark plainly stated: "Kerry will implode over an intern issue." [Three reporters in attendance confirm Clark made the startling comments.]

The Kerry commotion is why Howard Dean has turned increasingly aggressive against Kerry in recent days, and is the key reason why Dean reversed his decision not to drop out of the race after Wisconsin, top campaign sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

Update 3

FROM CONRESSIONAL QUARTERLY'S CRAIG CRAWFORD: 'Drudge item on Kerry intern issue is something Chris Lehane (clark press secy) has shopped around for a long time -- it was one reason the Gore vetters in 2000 shied away from Kerry as a running mate choice -- their conclusion that it wasn't bad enough to disqualify him, except for the fact that they couldn't risk it as they were trying so hard to distance themselves from Clinton's personal failings (note: Lehane worked for Gore at the time -- and briefly advised Kerry during this campaign). The Kerry camp has long expected to deal with this, and have assured party leaders they can handle it'...

ANYONE smell the CLINTONS on this???

Exactly but it will be interesting what Hillary is trying to do. Is she trying to poison the field so that nobody has a chance in '04 or is she lining up the nomination for herself?

Damn, I'm good:

Those of us from around Boston will remember the stories from a few years back about a young intern coming and going from Kerry's townhouse while The Catsup Queen was out of town HMMMM. That is some dirt.

Apparently he wants to have his cake (rich heiress) and eat it too (young hotties).

It's no wonder the Democratic campaigns are always so screwed up.

They are always getting their quotes into Drudge. Sheesh!

Since when does infidelity ruin a democrat presidential nominee?

Infidelity is only hypocritical when Republicans do it. Democrats are not for fidelity in general.

All now depends on how much dignity (and cash) Teresa Heinz is willing to sacrifice for this blow-hard. I have to think even hardcore Dems are saying "not again."

Thanks for that info. Didn't know. Boortz obviously doesn't know either.

That's what I get for being away from FR - where the real news is reported first.

Mark Davis, on WBAP-820, just said that he got a call from a Senate staffer that said something would be announced today that "will change the shape of the Presidential race." It concerns Kerry. It is a personal revelation about Kerry.

He's gay ?? haha !

Kerry is ...

Just a gigolo

Hmmmm, if they get a quickie divorce, he gets a boatload of money ( alimony, etc. )

Nope. Teresa Heinz wrote a very tight pre-nup before she married Kerry.

He'd likely get nothing but the $6 million mortgage he took out on his house.

OK, here's the deal. We know this came from the Clintons. We don't want Edwards.

I move we be sympathetic to Teresa, suggest they go for counseling, and accuse the media of the politics of personal destruction.

That should shore Kerry up enough that he stays in. Then we can destroy him after he gets the nomination.

So it looks like everyone knew except Kerry..and his wife?

If his own wife cant trust him can voters? (i guess the left still would)

Who leaked it the Clintons, or is Rove opening a can?

I was hoping for something bigger.

Does this help Edwards? Will Shrillery step in?

Time will tell.

Its about time election year gets exciting! yeehaaWWW!~
