Kerry, Democrats Running Scared!

Fact: John Kerry went on NBC’s Meet the Press and called himself a war criminal listing the war crimes he said he committed in Vietnam and making it clear he ordered men under his command to carry out what he called war crimes.

“I committed the same kinds of atrocities as thousands of others,” said Kerry as an anti-war activist guest on NBC’s Meet the Press (quoted in Brinkley’s book, page 362) after he returned stateside, “in that I shot in free fire zones, fired .50-caliber machine [gun] bullets, used harass-and-interdiction fire, joined in search-and-destroy missions, and burned villages. All of these acts are contrary to the laws of the Geneva Convention, and all were ordered as written, established policies from the top down, and the men who ordered this are war criminals.” (Source: Lowell Ponte, “Cash-and-Kerry, Part Two,” January 28, 2004, Front Page Magazine.)

Fact: John Kerry, as leader of Vietnam Veterans Against the War, delivered a statement before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee accusing U.S. soldiers fighting and dying in Vietnam of systematic war crimes and atrocities, which he equated to Genghis Khan and the Mongols based on the Hanoi Jane Fonda’s bogus and fraudulent “Winter Soldier Investigation” that was meant to smear American Soldiers and provide propaganda for Hanoi. Kerry smeared U.S. Soldiers in Vietnam as a bunch of degenerate, mutilating baby-killers.

“I would like to talk on behalf of all those veterans and say that several months ago in Detroit we had an investigation at which over 150 honorably discharged, and many very highly decorated, veterans testified to war crimes committed in Southeast Asia. These were not isolated incidents but crimes committed on a day-to-day basis with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command. It is impossible to describe to you exactly what did happen in Detroit - the emotions in the room and the feelings of the men who were reliving their experiences in Vietnam. They relived the absolute horror of what this country, in a sense, made them do.

They told stories that at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country.” (Source: John Kerry, “Vietnam Veterans Against the War Statement by John Kerry to the Senate Committee of Foreign Relations,” April 23, 1971.)

Fact: John Kerry was the leader of Vietnam Veterans Against the War, which was described as a group of communist revolutionaries that carried around banners of Communist Party leader Angela Davis that carried the North Vietnamese Flag, and also carried placards supporting totalitarian communist regimes such as the Soviet Union, China, North Korea, Cuba, and the Hanoi Government.

In 1971, the Communist Daily World delightedly published photos of him speaking to demonstrators as a leader of Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW). The April 23, 1971 Daily World boasted that the marchers displayed a banner depicting a portrait of Communist Party leader Angela Davis, who was on record stating: "I am dedicated to the overthrow of your system of government and your society."

By frequently participating in VVAW’s demonstrations, Kerry found himself marching alongside what the Boston Herald Traveler identified as "revolutionary Communists." While noting that known Reds had openly organized these events, the December 12, 1971 Herald Traveler reported the presence of an "abundance of Vietcong flags, clenched fists raised in the air, and placards plainly bearing legends in support of China, Cuba, the USSR, North Korea and the Hanoi government." (Source: John F. McManus, “Kerry Postures as a War Hero,” May 5, 2003, The New American.)

Fact: John Kerry, as leader of Vietnam Veterans Against the War, which was funded by Hanoi Jane Fonda, marched against the United States effort to contain Communism and had members mock and defile the uniform of U.S. soldiers by having them wear fatigues marked with communist graffiti under the flag of the Vietcong enemy.

Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry says: “As a national leader of VVAW, Kerry campaigned against the effort of the United States to contain the spread of Communism. He used the blood of servicemen still in the field for his own political advancement by claiming that their blood was being shed unnecessarily or in vain.

“Under Kerry's leadership, VVAW members mocked the uniform of United States soldiers by wearing tattered fatigues marked with pro-communist graffiti. They dishonored America by marching in demonstrations under the flag of the Viet Cong enemy.” (Source: Chuck Noe, “What You Don’t Know About John Kerry,” January 20, 2004, Newsmax.)

Fact: John Kerry wrote a book called, The New Soldier, which displayed a ragging band of VVAW members mocking the famous pose of marines at Iwo Jima and holding an American Flag upside down and they reportedly had spit on American Flags and burned them. During his run for the U.S. House of Representatives in 1972, these books disappeared even from libraries and became unavailable after Kerry’s opponent pointed this out.

Seeking election to the U.S. House in 1972, Kerry found it necessary to suppress reproduction of the cover picture appearing on his own book, The New Soldier. His political opponent pointed out that it depicted several unkempt youths crudely handling an American flag to mock the famous photo of the U.S. Marines at Iwo Jima. Suddenly, copies of the book became unavailable and even disappeared from libraries. But the Lowell (Mass.) Sun said of the type of person shown on its cover: "These people spit on the flag, they burn the flag, they carry the flag upside down, [and] they all but wipe their noses with it in their efforts to show their contempt for everything it still stands for." (Source: John F. McManus, “Kerry Postures as a War Hero,” May 5, 2003, The New American.)

Fact: John Kerry was side-by-side with Ramsey Clark who had went to Hanoi to condemn America, praise his communist hosts, and he even lectured American POWs being held by the North Vietnamese. In his 1972 run for Congress, he invited voters to hear Ramsey Clark deliver a speech on behalf of Kerry after returning from Hanoi.

During the 1972 "Kerry for Congress" campaign, flyers invited voters to "hear Ramsey Clark, former Attorney General, who has just recently returned from a visit in North Vietnam." While in Hanoi, Clark had distinguished himself by roundly condemning the United States, heaping praise on his Communist hosts, and lecturing American prisoners of war. (Source: John F. McManus, “Kerry Postures as a War Hero,” May 5, 2003, The New American.)

We remember Benedict Arnold for his TREASON, not his service. The same should go for Hanoi John Kerry!

Shhh-quiet. Wait until he's nominated. Then drop the bomb. In fact I would wait until after the convention to prevent Hillary from "rescuing" her party.

Isn't treason a felony? Wouldn't a traitor be barred from public office?

Treason is a high crime punishable by death, but unfortunately Hanoi Jane, Ramsey Clark, or even John Kerry can seemingly get away with it.

I would not be surprised if Hillary wasn't behind some of these "revelations." She wants the Demo to lose in 2004 so she can run against the GOP nominee in 2008. God save us all.

One posted pic on FR a few days ago had an arrow pointing to the person almost completely blocked by Clark's body, standing/leaning directly behind Clark as Jane Fonda.

I don't know if that was speculation or of the poster had other information. Poster didn't provide a narrative with the photo, just arrows with names of Kerry, Fonda, Clark.

Hey, I hear John Kerry echoing Susan Estrich saying republicans are "scared stiff" of his campaign and they are sending out their "attack dogs." Maybe John Kerry's Campaign has been reading the threads at FR and their starting to get a scared.

Well, if the worst happens, there may be some minor consolation. John Kerry may become the first President of the United States to be excommunicated by the Catholic Church. Frankly, I am looking forward to that (should he reach the White House).

In truth, he is a traitor. I am no more impressed by his being a veteran than I am by Lee Harvey Oswald, Jeffrey Dahmer, or Timothy McVeigh's veteran status...
