I didn't watch the Crappys tonight, but I just heard on Drudge that Chris Martin from Coldplay dedicated his award to John Kerry. Coldplay is my favorite band but all I have to say to Chris is: shut the hell up and sing. I don't care about your political views, hell, you're not even eligible to vote in an American election. LOL, what a doofus. Instead of buying their next album from a retail store and adding to their sales, I'll just buy it used off of ebay where it won't count toward the sales. He has a right to his opinion, but an awards show is not appropriate for them. Not even for the rich leftist freaks lala land.

Andy Williams - sounding like he just sucked on a helium balloon

That brought back some old memories. I met him in an Art Gallery on the row in LA in the early 70's. The gallery owner said (after he left) that they call him "big head"...cause it seems his head is a little out of proportion to his body.

The funny thing was he looked at me and said, "Haven't I seen you before?" and so I repeated it to him...He had a show on weekly then. :>)
(I went to a lot of gallery openings in "the day")

Ahhh, well he's getting old...

Speaking of helium balloons, on New Year's Eve I saw people 'blowing up' balloons and they kept getting smaller!

LOL

Thanks for posting all those pics and identifying everyone in them for us tonight, hole_n_one! Every year I recognize fewer and fewer of these musicians...

I noticed Paul McCartney was the only one of the "fab four" not to mention the word peace or love. Olivia, Yoko and Ringo all used those words, which just about made me want to upchuck my dinner. Thankfully Paul steered clear of the 'peace and love' crap (or endorsing Kerry for President like Chris Martin of Coldplay did) and just said thank you. These people need to learn that less is more, and often times 'thank you' is enough.
